Today Richard and Linda revisit the topic of teaching values to children. They focus on being goal oriented and specific in what you are teaching. Just because you have your core beliefs doesn't mean your children will pick up on them without a deliberate parenting approach. The Eyres know which values they think are the most important, but each family can come up with their own. The crucial thing is focus and commitment to learning and living the values you believe in.
