A lot of people will say "just eat in a calorie deficit", and just leave it at that. There's very little information/content put out about how to feel more satiated WHILE in a calorie deficit.
Heres the deal...
Losing fat doesn't have to be miserable 24/7. Sure, you'll need to accept being hungry sometimes if you're in a calorie deficit for long enough. But there are certainly plenty of strategies to mitigate how hungry you are all the time!
Topics include:
Protein prioritization
Fruits and vegetables
How to structure your meals
Snacking
Hydration
The 10 minute rule
Eating distracted
And much more!

In this episode, I highlight 5 nutrition myths and 5 training myths (along with a bonus myth) that still circulate the internet to this day. Social media is great, but it's full of conflicting information that can create confusion among non-fitness and health experts. This often leads to hesitancy to start a fitness or nutrition program because it's so hard to decipher what's right and what's BS.
This episode will hopefully give you some insight on why some of the most common myths are indeed false.
Nutrition myths include:
1. Carbs will lead to fat gain
2. Fruit is bad for you
3. You need frequent meals to speed up your metabolism
4. Eating too little can lead to weight gain
5. Hormones, and not calories in, calories out, lead to weight gain
Training Myths Include:
1. Switch things up often for muscle confusion
2. Cardio is the best fat burning tool
3. If you want to gain muscle, don't do cardio/conditioning
4. Soreness, fatigue and how much you sweat will indicate an effective workout
Bonus Myth (not necessarily nutrition or training specific):

In this single topic episode, I break down the two different types of cardio/conditioning that are the most effective at improving your health and performance.
Many people don't put much thought into their cardio. They do it for the wrong reasons and/or at the wrong intensity. Just going out and getting tired should not be your goal when it comes to cardio or conditioning (or any type of training). Sadly, most people who do cardio do it with this goal in mind, because they feel a sense of accomplishment or because their favorite influencer told them something like "no pain, no gain". They'll gauge how effective their workout was by how out of breath they were, how much they sweat, how sore they are the next day, or how much the "kicked their own ass". This is not the best approach for long term results.
Cardio can be great for health (mental and physical), improving your recovery, and boosting strength training performance, especially when done properly (at the right dose and intensity).

In this episode, I talk with my wife about the power of habits.
Most people think that crazy amounts of discipline is required to get ahead in life.
But most successful people have just figured out a way to make things habitual.
We talk about how to make something a habit, how long it takes, why it's so important, and examples of several fitness, nutrition, mental health, and business/productivity habits.

In this single-topic episode I discuss several training and nutrition considerations for hardgainers; skinny or skinny-fat people who have trouble gaining muscle.
Incorrect blanket statements people make about hardgainers
1. You should train less- why would someone trying to gain more muscle train less?!
2. You should only do barbell lifts- barbell lifts are important, but not the holy grail. To avoid injury, dumbbells, bodyweight, cables and even machines can help.
3. You should only do low rep compound lifts- Most of your training should be compound lifts, but isolation lifts can also help
4. Avoid cardio and all additional movement- cutting cardio will make you out of shape, less healthy, and less able to recover between workouts and sets.
5. Eat as much as possible with no regards to food quality- yes, you need to be in a calorie surplus, but anything more than ~500 calories/day will likely lead to fat gain.
Listen in for several more training and nutrition tips for hardgainers. Even if you're not a hardgainer, you can still take away some helpful information to maximize muscle growth from this episode.
