Diana and Leigh Ann discuss emotional vocabulary and the emotions they most often express. Diana shares how the three emotions she could identify were sadness, happiness, and anger. Leigh Ann talks about how difficult it was as a child to express her joy and the two share the emotional landscapes they grew up in, what emotions were modeled to them from their caretakers and how this has affected their own emotional expression throughout life.

As I do when I’m excited about something,I couldn’t wait to share all about it through an in-depth interview with Danielle. I had some BIG epiphanies in this week’s EVOX session. The starting point was realizing that for the past 5 or so years, I have felt so resistant to giving my absolute best in any area of life. In this new segment on The Accrescent Podcast, Client Conversations, my client shares how EVOX Therapy helped her release the immense anxiety, hurt, and dis-ease she felt towards her mother. She shares how prior to EVOX she would be severely triggered when around her mother. After spending time with her mother she would feel stuck in ruminating thoughts, unable to sleep well because of the anxiety, and often brought to tears.
