The Activity Continues

Hi friends, Amy here.

There won’t be an actual audio release this week and here’s why… we met up in person and celebrated our birthdays together, made some drinks, opened some presents, and just chatted about life. But as a result, some might find the sound quality of the finished product pretty hard to listen to.

There are lots of extra sounds because, when we meet in person we tend to get a little more animated than when we’re on our computers at our own homes. So we emphasized by banging hands on the table and even the mics occasionally. You can also hear the shaking of martinis. On top of that, since we had to sit so close together in order to all be on camera, our voices are picked up in each other’s mics. I did my best to fix that in post, but I’m not totally happy with it.

So I’m not going to release an audio version of this one. It’s definitely a visual episode anyway. So mix yourself up a Ghost Bride Martini (from Amy Bruni’s new book, Food to Die For) and head over to YouTube or Spotify and watch the video version.

Spotify: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/theactivitycontinues

In that we chatted about Paint by Numbers sets, drunk online shopping and the smell of books.

Megan argues with AP regarding the length of her work commute (AP’s not Megan’s), Amy gives a review of a newly re-opened local restaurant, and AP tells us about her solo vacation to the Pacific Northwest. We also talk a little about religion, casseroles, and our possible past lives, which is a spoiler for our episode with Jenny the Psychic that will be out in a few weeks.

And remember, if you like Moscato, drink Moscato!

We’ll see you next week for our live show! Stay spooky!

This week we sat down with Erika Anderson. She is a Spiritual Medium and a delightful human.

We explore Erika's experiences and teachings in mediumship, including her masterclass, and discuss spiritual connections with animals, personal spiritual practices, and blending Christian faith with Wicca.

The discussion highlights the healing effects of nature and meditation, addresses audience questions about spirit communication and reincarnation, and shares insights on handling grief and soul essence.

Erika reflects on overcoming trauma, connecting with the divine, and the universal interconnectedness of spiritual beliefs.

…we also discussed talking to trees.

Brew yourself a nice cozy beverage and join us where The Activity Continues.

This week we met with Diane, the client from The Dead Files episode “Devil’s Triangle” (Season 11 Episode 9). We covered it in our episode called "An Ocean Full of Oysters" which aired July 4, 2024.

She told us all about why she “called” the Dead Files, how the filming went, her impressions of Amy and Steve, and the aftermath. Diane also recounts her haunted childhood home, experiences with a ghost named Harry, and the support from Amy Allan to cleanse her tattoo shop.

Plus, if you watch the video episode, you'll see her new puppy!

So, grab your “oysters” and join us where… The Activity Continues.

This is the conversation we had before recording episode 124 which won’t be out until October 24, 2024,

In this episode, we talk about more paranormal and spiritual things than we usually do. We talk about our readings with Zoey, dream interpretations, and Megan’s child talking to ghosts.

But we also ramble on about the Minnesota State Fair, books and TV shows we’re watching, and storms that delayed this recording. Megan tells us about something in her childhood that we never knew before!

So, grab your State Fair Food, and join us where… The Sideshow begins.

Be sure to listen to the episode of The Activity Continues that followed this discussion. It’s number 124 and in it we discussed The Dead Files “Starvation Heights” (Season 1). It will be released on October 24, 2024.

Content Warning:

In this episode we mention kidnapping, being buried alive, dying by fire, dying by drowning, and child death (from an allergic reaction) and possible death in a car crash. Yes, this episode is a lighthearted romp! Actually, it is. These things are brought up because of dreams or past life regressions. So trigger warning for those who need it. Also, we swear a little bit.

The Activity Continues, our main even show, is a paranormal podcast where soul friends, Amy, Megan, and AP chat about pets, true crime, ghost stories, haunts, dreams, and other paranormal stuff including the TV show, The Dead Files. We also sometimes interview interesting people, whether it be a paranormal professional, a Dead Files client, or a listener with spooky stories.

This episode was recorded on August 28, 2024 and released on September 5, 2024.

Our friend Zoey Sutcliffe joined us for a nice chat. She told us about her first paranormal experiences and how she honed her abilities. We also learn about auras, the power of water, the spirits she lives with now, and Thomas the spirit who had a message for his widow. She even read some Tarot for us as well as telling us about our auras.

So, grab your beverage of choice, and join us where… The Activity Continues.
