Chilly Chat No. 3

This week we are discussing The Dead Files “Arctic Wrath” (Season 1 Episode 21) which aired July 19, 2012.

This episode had a lot of similarities to Stephen King stories which two out of three of us really like. We also had fun roasting Dusty McGee.

We talked about the overuse of the word “elderly”, what we read on the toilet before cell phones, and we imagined polar bears vacationing in the Hot Springs.

So, grab your Frozen Hot Chocolate, and join us where… The Activity Continues.

We have a shorty for you this week. Since we don’t usually talk politics, we didn’t have much to say this week (check the recording date if you don’t know what we’re referring to).

We talked about what it means when your ears ring, we have an update on the Patio Saga, and somehow, we ended up talking about trees. Like, a lot. We also touch on our appreciation for the Irwin family and how Robert’s IG page is instant serotonin. We even have a little joke for you, thanks to our Patron Shannon.

So, grab your beverage of choice, and join us where… The Sideshow begins.

This is the conversation we had after recording episode 121. Be sure to listen to the episode of The Activity Continues that followed this discussion. We met with Zoey our friend and Patron and learned all about her abilities and gifts. She told some fun stories and we laughed a lot. That episode will be released on August 29, 2024.

Content Warning:

At the end of this episode we mention a child that is in need of some good vibes due to an accident. So trigger warning for those who need it. Also, we swear.

This week we’re all over the map. What a shock!

Please vote for our show in the 19th Annual Podcast Awards (www.podcastawards.com)

AP started (and ended) her rap career and has an important question for bedsheet manufacturers in the US. Megan gives us some reading recommendations and prepares for losing her right hand. And Amy tells of her GenX concert adventure on a school night.

We also delve into a conversation about a certain nail company that we like, and it ends up sounding more and more like an ad. We promise, as of July 2, 2024, we do not have a deal with them.

So, grab your canned espresso martini, and join us where… The Sideshow begins.

Be sure to listen to the episode of The Activity Continues that followed this discussion.

That one is our last Chilly Chat episode. In that we recapped The Dead Files episode called “Arctic Wrath” from Season 1. That episode will be out August 15, 2024.

This week we are dissecting The Dead Files “Devil’s Triangle” (Season 11 Episode 9) which aired September 5, 2019. This one confused us too since the three main entities are similar and we struggled with which ghost matched which man in history!

We also talked about depression, demons, syphilis and selling your soul for riches.

And what happened when a cop didn’t pay for his oysters.

We also do a thought experiment on what it might be like to do a group project with Steve. (this is merely a joke we just expanded on, we don’t really think Steve would be a slacker in a group project—in case you’re listening, Steve). Megan also does her best-yet impersonation of Steve’s accent.

So, leave your syphilis in the drawing room, grab your beverage of choice, and join us where… The Activity Continues.

Content Warning:

In this episode we mention suicide by gunshot, mental illness, specifically depressions and bipolar disorder, so trigger warning for those who need it. Also, we swear.

Well, friends, turns out when we don’t meet every week we end up with a sh*t load to talk about, even though we text each other every day.

We jumped right out the gate with a thread that started with student loans, and it ended with Dobby the house elf. We don't have the strength for Barb today and AP is banned from talking about leeches forever. Also we discuss dogs and unwanted Potty Pals.

So, grab your favorite shower beer, and join us where… The Sideshow begins.

Be sure to listen to the episode of The Activity Continues that followed this discussion. It was episode 119 and we discussed The Dead Files “Dark Inheritance” (Season 3 Episode 14) and our episode will be released on August 1, 2024.

Content Warning:

In this episode we mention smoking (cigarettes, pipes, cigars) so trigger warning for those who need it. Also, we swear.

The Activity Continues, our main event show, is a paranormal podcast where soul friends, Amy, Megan, and AP chat about pets, true crime, ghost stories, haunts, dreams, and other paranormal stuff including the TV show, The Dead Files. We also sometimes interview interesting people, whether it be a paranormal professional, a Dead Files client, or a listener with spooky stories.

This episode was recorded on June 17, 2024 and released on June 27, 2024.

This week we are discussing The Dead Files “Drained” (Season 8 Episode 12) which aired September 9, 2017. To say that this episode confused us is an understatement.

We discussed peeing when you don't mean to, psychic vampires, horror films, and series of threes. We also learn what an organic witch is and we disagree on what the term “gravely” means.

Content Warning:

In this episode we mention suicide, murder (ax), and exorcisms, so warning for those who need it. Also, we swear.

The Activity Continues is a paranormal podcast where soul friends, Amy, Megan, and AP chat about pets, true crime, ghost stories, haunts, dreams, and other paranormal stuff including the TV show, The Dead Files. We also sometimes interview interesting people, whether it be a paranormal professional, a Dead Files client, or a listener with spooky stories.

So, grab your beverage of choice, and join us where… The Activity Continues.

This episode was recorded on May 13, 2024 and released on June 20, 2024.
