The Activity Continues

Despite the tech gremlins turning off AP’s camera, we managed to gab for almost an hour (don’t worry a lot was cut). Megan had to sit this one out, but Amy and AP had fun.

We tackled the very important question how many lip balms is too many lip balms? Please help us get to the bottom of this on our socials. Amy reminisced about Lip Smackers from the 1970s.

We spent a LOT of time talking about formatting documents for neuro-spicy brains. Spreadsheets might have come up. Quite a bit was cut from this discussion, but what was left in was done so in case it helps someone else not to feel alone. Brains are indeed weird. Heck, maybe this can be your sleep story this week.

AP shared a great cocktail hack. Let us know if you try it!

We discussed a couple of competition cooking shows we’re currently watching. There are spoilers if you’re not caught up with these.

So, grab your favorite Lip Smackers flavor, mix up a cocktail, and join us where… The Sideshow begins.

This is the conversation we had before recording episode 118. Be sure to listen to the episode of The Activity Continues that followed this discussion. We dissected The Dead Files “Never Alone” (Season 2 Episode 11 or 9) and that episode will be released on August 1, 2024.

his week we are discussing The Dead Files “Inviting Evil” (Season 9 Episode 9) which aired April 8, 2018. We also wish Amy Allan a very happy birthday and unapologetically beg her to guest on our show.

This episode’s recap was suggested by our Patron Shannon! Thank you Shannon!

We tackle the Bear vs. Man issue, hear about Amy’s scary but calming dream, AP does a spot-on Kanye impression, and Megan flashes us.

Summary:

The hosts share their insights on the episode's plot, which includes the troubling experiences of Rebecca, the main subject, who is targeted by a shadow person and a demonic entity due to interactions with a Ouija board, primarily influenced by her boyfriend, Mike. They discuss various aspects of the case, including the impact of fracking near Rebecca's home, and historical context related to a deadly car crash and a brutal murder from the 1800s.

The hosts express skepticism towards Mike's role and his assertions. Throughout, they blend humor, serious analysis, and concern for the well-being of the individuals involved. The episode ends on a note of empathy for Rebecca's ongoing struggle against the malevolent forces haunting her.

Content Warning:

This episode is a little heavy. There is talk of suicide/suicidal thoughts, depression, murder, and sexual assault. There’s mention of recent loss of spouse so trigger warning for those who need it. Also, we swear.

This week we depart from our usual format of interviews and recaps, opting instead for a freewheeling chat about various topics. We reflect on the season's activities including personal anecdotes. We also share updates on our experiences with past podcast guests and episodes, discussing the impact of these stories on both the subjects involved and ourselves.

We also talked about our visit to Dustin Pari’s show 'Ghosts: Do You Believe?' and share thoughts on Ouija boards, among other paranormal topics. Throughout the episode, we engage with a mix of light-hearted banter and more serious reflections on the experiences shared with you!

This week we sat down with team members from the paranormal group Spirit Mechanix. We were so excited to talk to them and they were so fun and so informative.

For those who don’t know, Spirit Mechanix is one of the teams that Amy Allan would send out to The Dead Files clients when they needed help removing entities and what not.

Steve, Patricia, and Raymond gave us some insight into a couple of the Dead Files cases they did, including the Barone family who we just spoke to last week.

We also nerded out about the joy of laminating important documents. We just instantly loved this crew and we’re sure you will as well.

Pour yourself some adult beverages and join us where The Activity Continues.

This week we sat down with Christa and Michelle Barone, clients from The Dead Files episode, Deadly Force (S11 E13).

We also talked about their filming of The Dead Files, including some behind-the-scenes stories. They also told us more about the activity in their homes, and the whole family’s wide array of abilities. We discussed Reiki, energy healing, and personal abilities, and spiritual connection with pets.

Pour yourself some wine and join us where The Activity Continues.

*Note: this is the edited version, the extended version is released on Patreon. Or you can go to YouTube and watch the VIDEO version (not the audio only)

Content Warning:

In this episode we discuss childhood cancer, and there’s a ghost story that involves a child whose death is a little gruesome. We didn’t even swear… much.

This week we sat down with Diane and Kelly from History Goes Bump. Hopefully you caught their episode from March 12, 2024 where they were kind enough to invite us to hang with them on their show.

We stayed up past our bedtimes discussing haunted paintings, ghost cows, scary bridges, history ghost tours, and April Fool’s pranks.

Fun fact of the week: If you put house spiders outside to “save” them, you are actually killing them.

Grab yourselves some M&Ms (be sure they’re not Skittles) and join us where The Activity Continues.

Content Warning:

In this episode we told some ghost stories which involved both children and dogs being killed. Otherwise, it was pretty clean. Not even much swearing!
