From a very young age, Emily Bruce was drawn to understanding global female oppression and committed herself to learn what she could do about the liberation of women and girls. Emily tells us of the life changing experience of living in a mothering home that provided support to otherwise homeless women. Seeing what a woman-centered supportive household offered, and within that- witnessing the sincere transformation of mothers- soon cemented Emily’s unwavering belief in the need for matriarchy. Now a Radical Birth Keeper and a part of the Free Birth Society team, Emily shares her own story of transformation in birth work.
