"Rejection" sounds like a gross word. It's probably one of the most repulsive words in the English dictionary- mostly because, as social beings, we respond sharply to feelings of rejection. We relate to that. And in many cases, a developed fear of rejection can extend to everything we come into contact with- including our belongings.
