Mormonish Podcast's Rebecca and Landon are joined by playwrite Rob Lauer as we present Rob’s award winning play "Beehive State" as a readers' theater theatrical production. The play centers around a polygamous family in post manifesto era Utah and was written by Rob Lauer, who is a post Mormon and now a member of Reformed Mormonism. He is also the former director of The Hill Cumorah Pageant. The play is about the complex era of post manifesto polygamy in Utah.! It’s a wonderful play with humor and wit, yet deals intelligently with the serious dynamics of a family in 1903 still living "The Principle" in a changing church. The play was originally performed on Sunday, March 17, 2024 ***How to DONATE to Mormonish Podcast: If you would like to help financially support our podcast, you can DONATE to support Mormonish Podcast here: https://www.mormonishpodcast.org/support Also at: PayPal: https://paypal.me/BiblioTechMedia?cou...
