The Big Boo Cast

This week Melanie shares her thoughts and feelings about the A&M / Bama game, and I share how I learned a hard lesson about my tolerance for roller coasters at this stage in my life. Needless to say we've both been subjected to some humbling experiences over the last few days.

We also talk about TV (there's a documentary that I loved so much I would do commercials for it), and it's Melanie's turn for Five Favorites.

 Hope you enjoy!

It was not a great weekend for the Bulldogs, but it was a great weekend for the Aggies, so naturally we have a big discussion about all of that along with our Side Eyes and I See Yous. One of us has an exciting (not) update on kitchen appliances, and we both have a TV recommendation.

We also talk about words we don't care for, and it's my turn for Five Favorites.

Enjoy, everybody!

In addition to all of our TSwift / Travis Kelce excitement, this week Melanie has good news from College Station, and while I don't have great news about my Bulldogs, it's certainly better than last week. We also share updates on where we are in the book writing process, and I talk about how I've been having some feelings. This is not my norm.

We also have info on some live show merch (link below!), and it's Melanie's turn for Five Favorites.

Hope you enjoy!

Well, it was not an ideal gameday for the Mississippi State Bulldogs this past Saturday, so Melanie and I break down all the heartache surrounding that as well as our unexpected physical hindrances that threatened to derail our weekends. Thankfully it was a happier football outcome for Melanie against ULM, and she shares all about her weekend in College Station.

We also talk about some TV we've been enjoying lately, and it's my turn for Five Favorites.

Hope you enjoy!

It's a sad trombone situation on the podcast this week - because Melanie's Aggies fell prey to some Hurricanes down in Miami. Melanie's still processing a lot of her thoughts and feelings, so we're going to dig into several of her postgame grievances. She's coming in hot, podcast friends. And of course we'll be talking about the Bulldogs' very eventful win against the Arizona Wildcats too.

On top of all that, we have a big Piper update, and it's Melanie's turn for Five Favorites. Plus, a bonus: an excerpt from our Patreon conversation with our new friend Cole Cubelic.

Enjoy, everybody!

This week is a college football extravaganza, as you might expect after the first full weekend of the 2023 season. We talk about the Aggies and the Bulldogs, of course, and Melanie has an update on whether she has in fact consumed the Aggie Kool-Aid (spoiler alert: you will not be surprised by her answer). And in football-adjacent news, I share about a documentary I watched that made me angrier than anything has in a long time.

We also discuss Side Eyes and I See Yous, and it's my turn for Five Favorites.

Enjoy, everybody!

Melanie and I both did a lot of writing this past weekend, so you'll hear us nerd it up about all of that on this episode. Plus, Melanie has some new skincare / make-up finds, and we both have updates on the latest from A&M and Samford.

Melanie also shares about a show she's loving, and it's my turn for Five Favorites.

Now we're not usually ones to jump into a scandal uninvited (okay - maybe that's not entirely true), but this week Melanie and I do address the latest news related to The Blind Side and all of my very complicated feelings surrounding that movie (FOR THE RECORD, I still haven't seen it). We also discuss moving Alex back to Samford, Caroline's week at Impact, and all the reasons we're starting to sense that college football is in the air again.

On top of that, we analyze our current issues with jeans, and it's Melanie's turn for Five Favorites.

Enjoy, everybody!

This week Melanie shares the latest with the Shankles, I share the latest with the Hudsons, and we both share our thoughts about / reactions to the new Johnny Manziel documentary on Netflix. Sometimes when you're really ready football season, any football news at all is like a balm to the soul. Apparently that's where we're living.

We also talk about the latest with TikTok's sorority recruitment coverage, and it's my turn for Five Favorites.
