Have you heard the news? Willies are getting bigger!
Hello there and welcome to The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast with Zoe - sorry - Toby Tarrant. As Chris, Dom and Producer James are off this week, Toby is here to save the day, alongside Chris Smith to fill in for Dom.
Toby was joined by five absolutely fantastic guests this week. Despite the impressions, Donald Trump didn’t come, neither did Miss Piggy, Yoda almost did, but Louis Armstrong definitely, definitely didn’t. The week kicked off with a visit from Richard Hammond, straight from his workshop where he repaired Radio X’s Johnny Vaughn’s Maserati. Then, comedian and new member of the Global family, Mo Gilligan, made his Radio X debut, telling us all about his new podcast on Global Player. Next, actor, comedian and Toby’s new bestie Tom Davis dropped by, and the wonderful Bill Bailey talked about his new hairdo and S.O.F.A. workout. Finally, Toby got starstruck as he met wrestler and rock icon Chris Jericho, ahead of his AEW appearance this weekend. Though he didn’t put Toby in The Walls of Jericho, he did give us a hot take about two of the greatest bands in UK history…Oasis and S Club 7.
Finally, ahead of Toby’s pedalo challenge, ‘Tarrant vs the Thames’ for Global’s Make Some Noise, we’ve recruited the Head of Health and Safety at Global to give Toby some stern (and much needed) advice. Also, Toby gets his pineapples on as he plugnes into an ice pool.
So go on, treat yourself! Hit play on the poddy and you’ll also hear…

Everybody sing *poooddccasssstttttt*
Hello and welcome to The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast! Chris and the team are taking a well-earned break this week but don’t worry, you’re in safe hands with trusty Toby Tarrant.
Toby kicked off the week with a massive announcement about his ‘Tarrant vs The Thames’ challenge, in aid of Global’s Make Some Noise. He’ll be travelling 56 miles down the river in true style: in a giant unicorn pedalo. The challenge will take place in October and Toby would be thrilled with any support or donations you can give.
Toby was joined by some fabulous guests this week. Firstly, Teri Hatcher, aka Lois Lane, brought glamour and giggles, telling us all about how the spooky movie ‘Coraline’ is returning to cinemas in 3D this August. Next, TV adventurer Aldo Kane made his most daring expedition yet to the Leicester Square studios, telling Toby all about the mental trails of exploring, as well as the importance of anti-chafing creams. Then, national treasure Mel Giedroyc met Toby for the first time, and agreed to join Toby on his pedalo challenge. Finally, comedian Maisie Adam made a last minute visit and, without knowing what she was in for, got roped into playing a quiz with the team.
Speaking of quizzes, Toby turned the studio into his own house of games this week, with the return of Stumpy’s Quiz, as well as two new games: Intern Bella’s ‘Squeak, Squeal, Squawk’ and Producer Harry’s ‘Rock n Roll Games Console’.
And that's a wrap! It's all good stuff, but here's some Tarrant treats...

This week was all fun n’ games. Firstly, Pippa took on Rob DJ’s Pub Quiz, as well as hosting a nudie game of Happy Endings, in honour of Dom’s new favourite book. Then, Chris and the team brought back the terrifying yet tremendous Celebrity Two Word Tango. Did someone say Keith Richards? Also, we saw the return of Chris and Dom’s favourite game as they play ‘Who Are You?’ with a familiar face from a famous football pub.
Finally, as The £25K Box enters its third week, things are really heating up. So much so, The Box has gone into ‘standby mode’ until Chris returns in two weeks’ time. However, if you’re looking for a heads up on the competition, I suggest you hit play…

In this episode, Chris and the team catch up with the man, the myth, the legend, Andi Peters. It was his birthday this week, so Andi celebrated in the most fitting way possible: with a McDonalds. This week, the brilliant Fran Healy and Dougie Payne of TRAVIS dropped in to say hello to the gang, still hyped from their recent support run for The Killers. They talked about their new album, L.A. Times, a naked Chris Moyles on stage and a very famous Abbey Road piano.
Also, this week saw the return of some old friends, including Loch Ness Steve and Chris Puppet, and Blur’s Graham Coxon asked Chris for a hug. Hello and welcome to episode 452 of The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast! No Chris this week, however, so Toby Tarrant sat in and it was a right laugh.
This week, Toby and the team were joined by a fabulous lineup of guests. Firstly, funnyman Ed Byrne talked about being famous in New Zealand and played a brilliant game of ‘Where’s Your ‘Ed At?’. Hello! We’ve made it to Friday and you know what that means…a brand new episode of your favourite podcast, The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast!
This week began with the team’s tales from the fields of Glastonbury. Pippa told us about her tupperware toilet, and James’ dreams came true as he sat very close to Chris in the back of a van. We even heard from Mel C, aka Sporty Spice, who dropped some very spicy hints towards her dream headliner next year. Did someone say reunion?
We also had an update on Dominic Byrne’s Embarrassing, Shambolic and Potentially Illegal Euros Sweepstake. Chris has begged him for weeks to wave the white flag, but can Dom really throw the towel in after all this time?
Finally, this week’s podcast really is in pole position, as Formula 1 legends Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri zoomed into the studio to meet Chris and the team. With the British Grand Prix taking place this weekend, Lando and Oscar - or Lando and Orlando as Chris called them - were here to answer all of your burning questions.

Hey hey hey! Welcome to The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast! We’ve officially reached the 450th podcast and this is a proper good’un.
This week, the team got their final preparations underway before gradually making the pilgrimage to the mighty Glastonbury Festival. Captain Crapbeard had his final shower and headed off first, with James following suit a little later. The question is though…will he take his cheeky little wizard outfit?
Also on the show this week, Chris and the team were visited by some brilliant guests. Firstly, comedy legend Frank Skinner returned to the airwaves to talk about his upcoming tour, ‘30 Years of Dirt’, and ‘The Fast Show’’s Paul Whitehouse talked about his favourite types of comedy. Then, ‘Ted Lasso’ actor Phil Dunster swaps the football boots for the cowboy boots as he tells the team about his latest role in ‘Oklahoma!’. Last but not least, Midge Ure, the brains behind the second best selling song in UK history, entered the Radio X studios for the first time, spilling fascinating secrets about Band Aid 1984.
Finally, Dominic Byrne, aka The Sweepstake Swindler, takes a trip around Global to collect £5 from all the (unwilling) participants.
