Lindsay Voorhees is an occupational therapist, wellness coach, and mindful movement guide who helps people discover ways to thrive while living with chronic and complex health conditions. She worked for several years in hospital-based Occupational therapy settings, from an inpatient spinal cord injury unit to acute care and outpatient neurologic rehab.
After witnessing the gaps and limitations within the healthcare system, she shifted her work from these more medicalized settings into a private practice better suited for instilling wellness and learning to thrive instead of just survive.
Lindsay works with clients navigating chronic or complex health challenges, including multiple sclerosis, chronic fatigue, autoimmunity, long COVID, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, cancer recovery, endometriosis, and more. She brings her expertise in neuro occupational therapy, mental health, and embodiment work into collaborative 1-to-1 client work as well as her group program, Root to Rise: Living Well with Chronic Illness.
