We all have a right to have preferences when it comes to love and dating. We are entitled to what we prefer … what we’re more attracted to, what we desire, what we want, what our “taste” or “type” is.

That’s my right.

That’s your right.

That’s his right.

I want to ask the question though, Are your preferences keeping you from God’s promises?

Is what you prefer more important than what you know is right for you? Are you putting a higher priority on your preferences than you should?

If your preferences are leading your search, leading your attractions, leading your desires, then maybe you need to reconsider your preferences.
