In Episode 2 of Season 3, Neil, Matt, and Bruce digest all the action from the epic Three Peaks and unpack what went well and what was a let down, for Bruce and Neil. They catch up with women's 1-2 and first-timers Kerry MacPhee and Ffion James who are still buzzing with excitement from the race.
In Crosstalk, they unpack the action from Jinglecross and ask whether this is a sign of things to come and chat through how much Pauwels Sauzen sauce gets value from racing where 'World means World'. They dive into the pits with the on-form Anna Kay after her outstanding season start.
And in the Laaste Ronde they preview the upcoming World Cup in Trek's back garden and hear the rider's view in Helen's 100 Seconds, with Helen Wyman of course.
Finally, they talk through the first of this season's National Trophy races in Derby and give you all you need to know if you are coming to race or spectate.
OK, this show is pretty long but packed with podcast gold from start to finish!

In Episode 1 of Season 3, Neil, Matt, and Bruce look forward to all the action coming up in the first few weeks of the 2019-2020 season. They look back on all the news from the summer and chat through the performance of cross riders who have been out on the road and mountainbikes, and they speculate on form of those who have been absent from summer races. They discuss the changes to the UK National Trophy and their implications.
In the Laaste Ronde they look forward to the first World Cup of the year at Jinglecross featuring the iconic Mount Crumpet. Matt puts Helen Wyman in the spotlight with the first of Helen's 100 Seconds, where she gives her view on the upcoming US race in a strict 100s time limit.
They also discuss what to expect at the Three Peaks Cyclocross which is being raced by both Bruce and Neil this year, as well as Lachlan Morton and Jimmy Whelan, pro riders from EF Education First.

In Episode 16 of Season 2, Neil, Matt, and Bruce are joined in the studio by Helen Wyman to review all the action from the end of the season. In crosstalk, they reminisce on Helen's career as one of the most successful, popular and influential cyclocross riders of her generation, as she retires from professional competition, and her plans for the future of the Helen100. They also look back on the career of Kevin Pauwels who has also just retired from racing.
Helen gives the inside information on the final races of the season from the DVV and Superprestige finales through to the excitement of the Soudal trials and bunny hop competitions, and that 'krazy golf' course from Hulst.
In the Laaste Ronde, they look forward to next season's calendar and talk scheduling of racing and being a tad exasperated at the clashes and how they will affect the highest level racing, especially in the UK. They review the venues for the National Trophy and talk through the 'it's not a spoof' World Champs course planned for the dullest flattest part of a country characterised by challenging cyclocross courses in the mountains... and the contrast with what looks like a brilliant venue for the 2019 Europeans, just up the road from Venice, Italy.
Thanks to all who have supported The Crosscast this season - The Velocast, Awesound, all of our guests, and of course all you listeners. Already looking forward to Season 3...

In Episode 15 of Season 2, Matt has an in depth chat with double World Champion Ben Tulett of @IKO_Beobank and his coach Dean Downing of @downingcycling. Ben, of course, is one of the very best CX riders to come out of the UK but is still only 18. Dean is a former National Champion in his own right, and one of the most successful and inspiring British road racers of the two decades.
They talk about racing and winning at the very highest level, coming back from injury, and whether we will ever get to see Dean pinning on a number and taking to a cross course.
Next week Matt will be back with Bruce and Neil to wrap up the season, review the highs and lows, and to look forwards to next year's National and International calendar.

In Episode 14 of Season 2, Matt, Bruce and Neil review the action from Bogense World Championships. In crosstalk, they debate whether this was a course worthy of the event and where races were won and lost. Brand's pit mishap is reviewed and a unanimous conclusion is reached.
They dive into the pits with Cameron Mason @camerooney_ and with Beth Crumpton @BethCrumpton who talk through their experiences in Denmark and their next steps looking forward to next season.
Importantly they unpick who was best at predicting winners, although all can take comfort in the fact that every pick made the podium... and try to work out the last time Wout van Aert raced in team kit.
Finally, in the Laaste Ronde, they look forward to the final events in the Superprestige and DVV series, that are still wide open. Each race is from a classic venue, but each has a very different character; Bruce brings his experience of racing at previous events.

In Episode 13 of Season 2, Matt, Bruce and Neil chat through the last round of the World Cup that was held in Hoogerheide and saw wins from Brand and Van der Poel. They muse on whether this was really a show of form ahead of the World Championships.
They dive into the Pits with Katie Compton, one of the most experienced riders and a favorite for a Worlds podium, and with Cameron Mason, who will be racing for the World Champs jersey for the very first time.
Most of the show is spent previewing the World Championships that will be coming from Bogense in Denmark, and there are mixed views on the course and those factors that could affect the racing - not least the weather. Finally they make their annual predictions for who the winners are going to be… you can join in by going to @TheCrosscast on Twitter and completing the polls. #SYOTOSOTT

In Episode 12 of Season 2, Neil, Matt and Bruce review all the action from the National Champs in Gravesend. They are all, frankly, overly gushing in their awe of the level of awesomeness coming through the British CX scene at the moment, and chat through Helen Wyman's move to join Anna Kay at Experza-Footlogix.
They also talk through the action from Pontchateau that saw a World Cup win from Mr Nys, World Cup series wins from Mr Pidcock and Ms Vos, a long-awaited win from Mr van Aert and an inevitable fluffing up of bunny hopping from Mr van der Haar.
In the Laaste Ronde, they preview the upcoming race at Hoogerheide that promises to be an absolute cracker with at least 10 riders in with a chance of a podium depending on the results.
It's been so dry this season so there was no need to dive into the pits this time which means that the show is the shortest for ages. #SYOTOSOTT

In Episode 9 of Season 2, Neil, Matt and Bruce review 5 (yes 5) cracking events over the Christmas Cross period, including the historic first-ever Junior Women’s race at Loenhout. They dive into the pits with Ben Turner a matter of hours after his win on New Year’s Day in Baal. They also review the spectacle of Diegem, the night race that combined fabulous racing, drama and that unique venue. They also give all the vital information that you need for the upcoming finale of the National Trophy in Shrewsbury… it’s going to be different so listen up! They also make predictions of who will win in Shrewsbury.
Yes, this is a long show but we didn’t want to edit Ben Turner, and, to be honest, Neil was poorly over Christmas so we were a little later than planned (what a great excuse for binge watching CX!).
