מסופר במדרש שפעם באו זוג לרשב"י להתגרש (אחר י' שנה ולא ילדה), ואמר "כשם שנתדווגתם זה לזה במאכל ובמשתה כך אין אתם מתפרשים אלא מתוך מאכל ומשתה", הלכו ועשו "סעודה גדולה ושכרתו .. אמר לה (הבעל) בתי ראי כל חפץ טוב שיש לי בבית טלי אותו ולכי לבית אביך", לאחר שנרדם, אמרה לעבדי' ולשפחותי' להוליך אותו לבית אבי', כשנתעורר ושאל אותה מדוע נמצא שם? ענתה "אין חפץ טוב לי בעולם יותר ממך!", הלכו לרשב"י והתפלל עליהם ונפקדו, "ללמדך מה הקב"ה פוקד עקרות אף צדיקים פוקדים עקרות". ויש לקשר זה עם הידוע אודות המופתים של אדמו"ר האמצעי בל"ג בעומר בעיקר בנוגע לפקוד עקרות. (וענינו ברוחניות, לפעול שהאבות והילדים ילכו יחד באותו דרך ה'). והמדרש מסיים בק"ו ש"ישראל המחכים לישועת הקב"ה בכ"י ואומרים אין לנו חפץ טוב בעולם אלא אתה – עאכו"כ" שממלא בקשתם. ויה"ר, שע"י מעשינו ועבודתינו, ובמיוחד הפעולות (ובפרט עם הילדים) בקשר ל"יום שמחתו" של רשב"י, נזכה לראות זאת בעיני בשר ובקרוב ממש!
משיחת מוצאי ל"ג בעומר ה'תש"מ
The Midrash tells the story of a couple who had been married for ten years without having children, they came to Rabbi Shimon ben Yochai to get divorced. Rabbi Shimon ben Yochai told them, “Just as you were married with food and drink, so too, you shall not separate except with food and drink.” They went and made a great feast, at which the husband became intoxicated. “He said to her, ‘My daughter, see any valuable object that I have in the house, take it and go to your father’s house.’” After he fell asleep, she told her servants and maidservants to take him to her father's house. When he awoke and asked why he was there she replied, “There is no object in the world more valuable to me than you!” They went back to Rabbi Shimon ben Yochai who davened for them, and they were blessed with children. The Midrash states that this teaches you that “just as the Holy One, blessed be He, remembers the barren, so too, the righteous remember the barren.” This can be connected to the miracles known to occur by the Mitteler Rebbe on Lag B’Omer, primarily that of people being blessed with children. (In the spiritual sense – getting the parents and children to walk the same path together, the path of Hashem). And the Midrash concludes: “The Jewish people, who await the salvation of the Holy One, blessed be He, every day and say, ‘We have no valuable object in the world but You’ – all the more so” that Hashem fulfills their request. May it be His will that through our deeds and our service, especially the activities associated with “the day of Rabbi Shimon ben Yochai’s joy” (and especially the activities done with children), we will merit to see it very soon with our physical eyes.
