  • Famine as a weapon of war: 20 million lives at risk in Africa, Yemen (part 2)
Up to 20 million people face starvation in Yemen, Somalia, South Sudan and northeast Nigeria. Each case has this in common: conflict, the breakdown of public services and in the case of South Sudan, the government withholding food to opposition-dominated areas. How to break the cycle that in the case of Somalia has endured for more than a quarter-century? How to stop the war in Yemen? Can there be a holistic plan that makes these nations more self-reliant? Click here for PART TWO.
Produced by Michele BARBERO, François WIBAUX and Christopher DAVIS.

  • Do Russians care? Kremlin cracks down after anti-corruption protests (part 1)
Sunday saw Russia's biggest anti-government demonstrations in five years. Yet they may seem like a drop in the ocean. In cities from the Pacific port of Vladivostok to Saint Petersburg, determined supporters of Alexei Navalny turned out to protest corruption. But what's 8,000 in a city of nearly 12 million? Why - despite two years of recession - are so many more Russians immune to the excesses of the elite? Click here for PART TWO.

  • Westminster attack: What response to parliament rampage? (part 2)
May it never become the new normal. The rampage that has left four dead and scores injured at Westminster follows the ones in Nice and Berlin. This time, it was the beacon of Western liberal democracy, the British parliament, which was targeted. Twelve years have passed since the 7/7 London Underground bombings. What's changed since then and what needs to change? Click here for PART ONE.

  • Spies and lies: FBI confirms Russia-Trump campaign probe (part 2)
FBI Director James Comey dropped a bombshell in front of Congressional lawmakers Monday. Comey confirmed his team is investigating links between individuals associated with the Trump campaign and the Russian government. He also denied having found any evidence that the Obama administration had intelligence services wiretap Trump Tower. We look at the impact of the revelations and at the unprecedented position of a president openly feuding with his own intelligence services. Produced by Michele BARBERO, Maya-Anaïs YATAGHENE and Christopher DAVIS.

  • After the Dutch Vote: PM hails win over 'wrong kind of populism' (part 1)
The populist winning streak that started with Brexit and Trump has been snapped. Incumbent Dutch centre-right Prime Minister Mark Rutte has emerged as the big winner as he chastised what he called "the wrong kind of populism," a dig at far-right leader Geert Wilders who faded slightly in the polls but still picked up seats. Wilders lost the election but did he in fact win the argument, what with other parties toughening their stances during the campaign? Click here for PART TWO.
