Mount Sinai's three facility dogs —Professor, Amos, and Moby— are a part of the trailblazing Paws & Play Facility Dog Program at Kravis Children's Hospital at Mount Sinai, The program is run by Ali Spikestein, a Program Manager of Kravis Children's Hospital's Child Life and Creative Arts Therapy Department. On this episode, Ali discusses the effects the program has had on both patients and their families, many of whom have made remarkable progress after meeting their new furry friend.
