Full Hour | In today’s third hour, Dom continues the show by welcoming Sam Oropeza, former candidate for PA Senate, back onto the Dom Giordano Program. Yesterday, Sam was pictured in Kensington meeting with Dr. Mehmet Oz after the candidate decided to come to see the horror show in the part of the city. First, Dom asks Sam why he was out there, with Sam telling Dom that he’s regularly in Kensington but made a point to go see Dr. Oz’s reaction to the incredible nature of the neighborhood. Oropeza comments on the situation itself, lamenting about the impact that progressive policies have had that he argues has largely lead us in this direction. Also, Oropeza notes the lack of security detail for the Dr. Mehmet Oz camp, telling that he can’t think of one Philadelphia public official who would visit the neighborhood without security.

Then, Dom welcomes State Representative Martina White back onto the Dom Giordano Program to discuss the hearing that’s been set looking into Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner’s role in the heightened violence and crime in Philadelphia. Giordano and White reveal that, beginning Wednesday of next week, lawmakers from Harrisburg will come down to Philadelphia’s Navy Yard for a public hearing including the DA under investigation. Dom asks Martina why leadership has chosen to hold the hearing at the Navy Yard, complimenting the decision, asking Martina whether she happens to know who will be testifying.
