Full Hour | To lead off today’s second hour, Ralph Cipriano, editor of BigTrial.net, joins the Dom Giordano Program to reveal a shocking incident he uncovered last week. Friday night, Cipriano reported that the parents of two carjacking victims refused to report the race of the assailants after their daughters were shot by carjackers in North Philadelphia. Then, this leads Cipriano and Giordano to a discussion about another revelation uncovered by Cipriano, with him telling that the Inquirer allegedly buries stories based on the race of individuals involved, telling how he uncovered this. After a discussion about the Inquirer, Giordano and Cipriano put their heads together to try and figure if there’s a way for the city out of this.
Then, Giordano spends the rest of the hour, speaking of local issues. First, Giordano tells of the continued news around the trial of Kenyatta Johnson, lamenting of a time in the past when the former Councilman would take issue with things like bay windows and balconies. Then, Giordano reveals some information he’s learned about Marty Mack, one of the officers killed on I95, telling about his ties in with the community and local schooling history. Finally, Dan takes over the show for some Dan Time with Dom, with both Giordano and Dan discussing the end of Maury and the surprises of the first weekend of the NCAA Men’s Basketball tournament.
