First, Williams responds directly to Shapiro’s claims that the assembly has dragged their feet on a potential $30 million infusion into public safety in the State, refuting with proof of past policies that he has personally worked on to both bring funding for public safety, and offering more jurisdiction power to the Attorney General to prosecute gun crimes in Philadelphia. Williams reveals that in 2019, Shapiro was granted more authority to prosecute these crimes but hasn’t used it to his greatest advantage, and notes that he’s currently working on re-granting the same authority as the edict has since expired. First, Giordano plays back a clip from yesterday’s Krasner press conference. Krasner, when asked about his relationship with police, noted that his relationship with Commissioner Outlaw is great but he will continue to refuse to work with the FOP due to past comments, alleging that leadership of the FOP is a “mouthpiece for Donald Trump.” McNesby jokes that the only explanation for Krasners lies are because McNesby and the FOP continues to be in the head of the District Attorney, and challenges the DA to a boxing match. Then, McNesby offers his thoughts on the crime throughout the city, and tells what listeners can do to help police through the holiday season. After McNesby, Dom takes a couple more callers on the topic of crime, and tells of a conspiracy theory propagated by sportswriter Bill Simmons, who alleges that Michelle Tafoya has been kept off Sunday Night Football due to her time filling the conservative seat of The View.

Giordano leads off the show by telling why AG Shapiro is dangerous from a political standpoint, telling of his political power in the State and within his party. First, Giordano and Oh discuss the breaking news of a new vaccine mandate for restaurants around Philadelphia. Earlier today, Mayor Kenney held a press conference in which he announced that the city would start requiring businesses to check for vaccinations before allowing admittance into their establishment. Councilman Oh tries to take a measured approach on the situation, but explains the situation through the eyes of business owners who have already lost so much during the pandemic. Then, Giordano and Oh discuss crime unfolding around the city, first discussing an incident at a pizza shop in Spring Garden in which a 14 year old was forced to defend his mother and his family’s business from a burglar.
