In this solo episode I break down why labelling yourself as bad at dieting keeps you stuck in the binge-restrict cycle and the exact reframe I use with clients to help them eat the foods they’ve been ‘cutting out’ without guilt or overeating
Ever had a ‘bad weekend’ with food and beaten yourself up over it? I unpack why you’re not bad at dieting, and why restricting foods you love is actually what’s keeping you stuck in the yo-yo cycle.
I share a real conversation with a client who felt guilty over eating sweets, and the mindset shift I gave her ; giving yourself full permission to eat the foods you’re ‘not allowed’ - that breaks the guilt-shame-overeat loop for good.
I also get personal about my own relationship with food during a tough period of depression, and why food can never be your only tool for regulating emotions.
If you’ve ever felt like you fail every diet, this episode will change how you think about food, guilt and control.
If you'd like some help breaking free from the yo-yo diet or emotional eating cycle feel free to apply for coaching here
In today’s episode I talk about a client I worked with Recently. I speak openly and honestly about my experience coaching someone who wasn’t ready to answer the questions I was asking.
If you’re feeling stuck with your weight, then continuing down the same broken lines of thinking and trying to be “good” isn’t going to get you unstuck.
The real work is the stuff you’re avoiding, the discomfort you’ve pushed down and distracted yourself from with food.
The food doesn’t need to be changed, the why behind your eating does.

In this solo episode I talk about why chocolate isn’t making you fat, why it isn’t the problem or what’s holding you back from weight loss.
I delve deep into the behavioural psychology of weight loss and the diet conditioning that has many of you feeling stuck.
Weight loss in theory is easy, but when it comes to losing weight properly in a sustainable fashion it requires changing your mindset and behaviours. It means forming new habits and ditching old ones and figuring out the root cause of why you struggle with overeating not just jumping into the next diet.
I talk about the importance of compassion, self reflection and self awareness and go through some helpful tools that can help improve your relationship with food.
