As with everything in life, when you look back, there are always little things that could have made a big difference had you known about them earlier. Today, we’re diving into some of the things Chrystal wishes she knew when she started her fitness journey, and hopefully if you are just starting out on your fitness journey, they can help you too. Firstly, progress isn’t linear, the goalposts are always changing. Secondly, nutrition is everything. There is a lot of conflicting information out there, so find something that works for you. Similarly, find a training program you enjoy and stick with it. If you have very specific goals, you might have to enjoy training a little less, but for most of us, exercise should be fun! Lastly, supplements are just that, supplemental to your diet, so don’t use them to replace food, and please, stop comparing yourself to others. Your effort, and your consistency, and your progress is your own and no one else’s, so do what works for you. Tune in to find out more!
