Kia ora and welcome to The Fearless Podcast Series powered by Puma.
It gives me great pleasure to introduce you to today’s guest, Dame Susan Devoy - New Zealand’s greatest ever Squash player.
The four-time World Open and eight-time British Open Champion completely dominated the sport throughout the 1980s and early 1990s and her passion for squash has not slowed down at all! It’s well known Dame Susan is as fearless off the court as she is on, saying “she’s always been a little terrier that fights for the underdog”. That statement couldn’t be more apparent as we sat down at Club Kelburn in Wellington, a club she has been pivotal in saving from being closed down.
