Today's episode features a great interview with me and Sean Minard! Sean and I were introduced on LinkedIn and I knew immediately that his story would resonate with many people. He is a personal trainer, nutritionist and a dad that has a lot of insights into the importance of fitness and fatherhood and how they work together.

Cody Lutz and I sit down in this episode to discuss all things fitness and fatherhood. He and I connected on LinkedIn and I was instantly intrigued by his business Backyard Shreds where he helps people build sheds in their backyard specifically made to be home gyms. We talk about how having a home gym while trying to be a present father and focus on your fitness is a game changer and he shares why he thinks having a shed is better than building your gym out in your garage.
Cody is also a fitness coach and has a cohort starting soon that he wants you to be a part of! If you're a dad that wants to get in shape in 2025 and would benefit from a group of likeminded people and an awesome coach to help you through the process and keep you accountable, make sure you reach out to Cody soon! He is running a great deal for Black Friday if you sign up soon!

Today's episode is a great one! In this episode I get the chance to talk to Mitch Mathews. Mitch has a rich history of fitness that included time playing D1 football at BYU and a couple of years in the NFL before transitioning into a full-time entrepreneur and business owner. Mitch is a father of two and he and his wife embody fitness as a lifestyle in the best way. This episode is a shorter one but it is so jam-packed with gold that I know you're going to love it.
Trent Cox is an ultra-runner and a father of 4 who has been running really long races since he was 14 years old. He and I sat down to talk about how fitness has been a part of his life ever since he was a kid, how he was inspired and continues to be inspired by his own dad, how he balances really high mileage weeks all while being a full time orthodontist and present father. He has some great thoughts around why he does what he does even when it sucks. I hope that you're inspired to go do something hard after listening to this episode!

In today's episode, I have the chance to talk to Connor Weaver. Connor is a former track and cross-country athlete at BYU then he ran in the olympic trials in the marathon earlier this year and is now competing at the pro level of Ironman. Not only is he an extremely hard-working athlete, he is a father and works full time while trying to compete at the literal highest level of his sport. He was gracious enough to sit down with me for 30 minutes to discuss everything it takes to be the best dad and athlete he can be.
If you'd like to learn more about Connor and his training, he produces content for his YouTube channel as well as on his instagram account @trainwithweaves.

In today's episode, I chat with Alec Crestani. Alec and I were college roomates in 2016 and were so busy with school and work (he and I were at different schools) that we barely got to know each other! Over the years I have kept up with Alec via social media and watched him crush race after race on his road and mountain bikes. He is a father of 3 and had some awesome insight into how to make family and fitness work together. He is a great dad and a stellar athlete and it was fun to reconnect.
