The God Minute

The Christ
The passage from Isaiah, renews our steadfast faith in Christ.  The authority and ruling power of the Messiah is the cross.  Whether the manger, the cross or the Eucharist, we recognize the love of Christ and freely cry out, "My Lord and My God."

Christmas
Merry Christmas Everyone!  Today, in addition to it being Christmas, as many of our regular followers know, each Saturday we dedicate our prayer at the God Minute to our Blessed Mother. What better way for us to do so on Christmas than for us to pray a decade of the rosary, the third Joyful mystery, The Nativity of our Lord, along with a few other special moments!

The Light
All of us were created in the image and likeness of God.  From our Baptism we are known as Children of the Light.  It is we who can do great things and bring light to the darkness of our world.  The coming of Jesus, the Light of the  World, shattered our darkness and gave us new life in Him.

Bethlehem
The small town of Bethlehem, where The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us, becomes a reminder of our personal lowliness and reminder that like Bethlehem, we too must ready ourselves for the Savior.
