Hi everyone this is Cristin and this is episode 25. Today’s intention is I am practicing intentionally living or I am practicing living with intention.
What does living intentionally mean? For me it’s living with:
Gratitude. Acceptance. Mindfulness. Doing things with intention. Removing stress / stress triggers / anxiety triggers. Choosing relationships that are up-lifting. Spending intentional time with family and friends. Knowing it’s ok being ok, looking at more of what’s good and intentionally becoming better. Better at being authentically me, a better mother, a better friend, family member, and just overall positive, nice, successful person.
Intentionally taking care of me, creating more intentional energy to give to others.
Today’s session is going to be little heavy on the journaling side, so take your time, pause if you need to.
What does intentional living mean to me?How do I want to live more intentionally?
How am I living intentionally in the present and how do I see myself living intentionally in the future?
How can I start living more intentionally today?
Am I taking care of myself?
How can I better take care of myself?
Are there areas that are OK?
What areas in my life feel well, or good- how can I create more of that?
What are some areas I'd live to live a little more intentionally? And how can I do this with ease?
And now on to today’s meditation:
Take a moment to settle in, releasing any tension you may feel in your body. Making any movements you need to stretch your back, your neck and shoulders, your legs and hips, your arms, wrists, fingers, ankles and toes.
Take a deep breath in and out.
I am practicing living with intention.
I am practicing intentionally living.
I am doing the best I can each day. Taking inspired action steps that put me on the path of my own alignment.
I am practicing living with intention, really taking notice of all the moments in each day.
I am removing things that no longer serve me.
I am practicing being more grateful each day…
I am grateful for my body, it brings me to all the places each day, week, month and year.
I am grateful for my ears to hear this.
I am grateful for my home.
I am grateful for my friends and family.
See yourself doing what you do each day with a little more intention, mindfulness and gratitude.
Drinking your water in the morning.. Being grateful for the fountain of youth and clean water.
See yourself going to work grateful for having the job and bringing a little more peace and joy to the day.
If you’re a mother, see yourself being more intentional with your time with your littles ones, enjoying each moment.
See yourself in your relationships, giving more of what you wish to receive.. Love, acceptance, respect and kindness.
Take a deep breath in and out…
Take a moment to guide yourself through your normal day to day activities with a little more intention, gratitude, peace, patience and mindfulness. Maybe see yourself waking up each day, taking a moment to be grateful you’re alive. Today is a great day, I’m so grateful to be alive.
See yourself doing more of what you love.
See yourself letting go of the things holding you back.
See yourself at the end of the day, in an intentional bedtime routine. Doing what supports you at the end of the day to relax, be grateful and notice your successes.
Take a deep breath in and out….
When you are ready, come back into today. Gently opening your eyes, maybe taking another deep breath in and out…
Bring the feelings of peace, love, and gratitude with you today in all your day to day activities. Take moments to notice. Being mindful, being grateful. You are here on this amazing planet, let's make the most of each day.
