Katey is a calm and thoughtful leader and in this terrific interview some of the key highlights were:
· Her philosophy that every success story starts with a kid who hates to lose
· How the great coaches are very good listeners, and are clear on what's important, not what is the latest shiny new thing.
· The story she shares about Michael Jordans college coach, Dean Smith and how in his teams, they made a point of showing gratitude and appreciation whenever anyone scored.
· And her view that character has more impact than talent, when it comes to team dynamics.
