On this episode we dive back into the Life of Joseph and talk some more about his father Jacob. Jacob made some extremely foolish decisions that caused major problems in his family. We need to learn from his mistakes so that we don't make those same mistakes and damage our own families.

Biblical Professor/Author Michael A. Milton rightly said, "The rebellious nature of one generation will have an invariable effect upon the following generation and even the generation after that." I believe the reverse of that is also true (let me flip the coin) ... Biblical Professor GRIZ rightly said, "The godly nature of one generation will have an invariable effect upon the following generation and even the generation after that."

Reason #1 ... I want to live a Christian life that pleases God and brings Him glory.

Reason #2 ... Because I'm a new creation in Christ and I need to live like it.

Reason #3 ... Because its cheating on God (spiritual adultery).

Reason #4 ... Because I'm going to stand before God and give account of my Christian life.

The manliest thing you’ll ever do in your Christian life is love (AGAPE) other human beings the way that God loves you.

It’s the truth.

I honestly can’t think of anything manlier than that. You can have the biggest and strongest muscles, hunt polar bears with a pocket knife, ink up your whole body with skulls and dragons and tribal symbols, become a Brazilian jui jitsu master who then becomes a Navy SEAL, earn yourself 3 PHDs, write 10 NY Times best selling books, and accumulate a net worth of over one billion dollars $$$$$ …

But you wanna know what God says about all of that? …

He says if you don’t love other human beings the way that He loves you … then you will ultimately end up building nothing, being nothing, and gaining nothing. Absolutely nothing. You will miss the main point of your Christian life and you don’t want that. I don't want that. AGAPE!

Most American men are living a pretty safe and comfortable lifestyle. They're addicted to their temperature-controlled, overfed, sheltered, safety-netted lives. They don't like to be pushed outside of their comfort zones ... but what if that's a big contributing factor to what's wrong with us?
