Oliver Stone's Natural Born Killers from 1994, based on a Tarantino (heavily rewritten) script, learn some wild tales that went into making this movie you may have forgotten about. And then we get into Maggie Gyllenhaal's, The Bride! (2026), yeah, it's tanking at the box office, but it's so worth seeing. This movie deserves more than it got. Mike isn't just saying that because he worked on it. You'll learn what went into recreating the classic monster with a new vision and feel. Hey, Whole Damn Family, here is our 40th episode! Wow, we are cruising right along! This one goes to the dogs, though. In this episode, we review Cujo from 1983. It gave us a chance to once again explore the Stephen King Darkweb, boy, that thing has been a wealth of information. Cujo was also directed by Lewis Teague, who directed Alligator in episode 38. There's a good amount of behind-the-scenes for this one. In our recent movie, we talk about Good Boy (2025). Does the dog die? Everyone wanted to know, and the answer is NO! In the end, he's still a good boy. We talk a bit about how the director Ben Leonberg, and his wife, producer Kari Fischer, used their own dog Indy over years of shooting. pretty cool!

We start with a deep dive on a classic slasher (1981), My Bloody Valentine, where Mike gets into some good behind-the-scenes stuff and talks about the uncut version…and how much the MPAA butchered this movie. Also, Mike sings again! After that, we cozy up on the couch for our second feature (2025) Heart Eyes (yeah, we should have reviewed this one last year…but we didn’t.) Hey Whole Damn Family! This episode is cold-blooded. We start off with a favorite of Mike's (1980) Alligator. Directed by Lewis Teague. In this episode, we learn that this movie isn't appropriate for four-year-olds, or so James claims, also...was Sketchers secretly involved in experiments on puppies? You'll have to listen to find out that no, that's not true. But we do at least cover the urban legend of what happens when you flush a baby alligator into the sewers...magic thats what happens. After the Lobby Break, we do a spoiler-free review of the new (2025) Anaconda reboot that came out on Christmas Day, starring Jack Black and Paul Rudd. Mike sings a song as his opener in honor of Jack Black and Sir Mix-a-lot (seriously, you can't miss that).

The turn of the Millennium brought us a fun sci-fi monster movie called Pitch Black (2000) and Vin Diesel, without which we would not have such strong Family values, and we wouldn't have the Fast and the Furious movies either, so thank you, universe, for supplying us with those. We paired this one with Dan Trachtenberg's box office success, Predator Badlands (2025). You may not think it, but these movies are both about family. Hey, Whole Damn Family. We recorded this one out of order so we could squeeze in our Thanksgiving episode. On this one, we get physical with Brian Yuzna's crazy movie Society (1992). Nothing to see here, nothing strange going on, just keep your hands and feet inside the cart until we pass the shunting lest you be dragged in. We also discuss what we like in our tea...or rather what a character is asked about tea. Don't worry we don't kink shame here! But wow, is this full of Booty Calls. After the shunting, we move onto the enabling co-dependent millennial piece Together (2025) from director Michael Shanks where we learn what not to do in a relationship. Lots of behind-the-scenes tidbits for both these films, so enjoy!
