Mindset is a buzzword, but do you really understand what it means? Mindset means changing what's happening in your mind and body to create what you want instead of what you don't want. Mindset is powerful and necessary, but mindfulness is the path to a higher level of mindset, but few are willing to do what it takes to create new levels of thinking. 

The primary elements of this episode are:

• Whatever you believe is true for you, and your results and circumstances will reflect your beliefs. 
• Your experiences created your beliefs, and your beliefs create your thoughts and emotions. To change any circumstance you must understand your experiences, current beliefs, thoughts, and emotions. 
• Silence and stillness - the absence of distraction - is the environment which creates the awareness required to elevate your mindset. Few are willing to practice mindfulness to get the most effective results.

Work harder. Hustle and grind. Sleep less. Make more calls. Get another job. These are some of the commonly accepted ways to increase your wealth, success, and happiness. But they are all missing one thing; the beliefs you hold right now have created your circumstances. In this episode we dive into how to understand your beliefs and how to change them.

• Mike shares a long list of beliefs that he once held which he shifted to shift his outcomes.
• To get started take an inventory of the beliefs you hold which have created your current circumstances.
• Decide on a new belief that you want to install, and look for evidence in your life where this has already been true. Focus on seeing what you want to see, not what you don't.

Most humans are living unconsciously - trying to avoid pain and feel pleasure. In order to truly live soul out, we must find higher levels of emotional courage, and never allow feelings and emotions to become our master. When we master our emotions, we can reach higher levels of wealth, success, and happiness.

The primary elements of this episode are:

• Emotional courage is the willingness and ability to feel any emotion, and still be ok. 
• Feelings cannot hurt us. Avoiding feelings, or trying to rearrange our external circumstances to create feelings we prefer to feel can. 
• When we create emotional courage and feel every emotion, what we feel heals, and we heal the parts of ourselves which created that feeling.

Life tells us to get a good job that feels safe, secure, and steady, but that's certainly not the life that people born to be entrepreneurs crave. At the deepest level we desire more from life, and we desire time freedom, financial freedom, and the freedom to be ourselves. Lucas Walls realized early on that he wasn't meant to be an employee. Have you been looking for real intimacy throughout your life? I have. I never knew what I was truly looking for, but I'm beginning to understand. I wanted more money, more success, and more shiny objects, but it was all for one reason only - I wanted more intimacy in my life. I just wanted to feel safe with other people. 

The primary elements of this episode are:

• Human beings are primitive, tribal beings, and we feel safer and more secure when we operate in a tribe. The absence of a tribe incites deep fear in us.
• We give up our authenticity and we hide ourselves away in order to be embraced and accepted. We feel that we cannot show up real and be accepted. 
• Deep intimacy is being able to show up real, raw, authentic, and vulnerable. It's the willingness to put ourselves in a position to be hurt by another - but trust that we won't be. 
• Deep intimacy creates deep fulfillment in the our lives and enables us to live soul out.

Creating more wealth and success is not as simple as doing more. You must become more. Becoming more is an internal process of mastering your internal world - your experiences, beliefs, thoughts, and emotions. When you master the inner game of wealth, the external game of wealth becomes easy.

Are you taking life seriously? Think about the aspects of life: health, wealth, relationships - are you taking any of these seriously? If so, that's causing you to live a more stress-filled life than necessary. When you let go of any seriousness of life, joy takes its place.

• We take life too seriously, but no one gets out alive. 
• Your mind and body die, but your soul/spirit is eternal and infinite - there is no risk whatsoever. 
• Letting go of the risk of life and letting go of seriousness allows you to let go of stress and struggle - and joy will take its place.

Sometimes it's better that we don't get our prayers answered. Humility comes from not getting what you want. You can't solve an internal problem through external means - you just delay feeling what needs to be resolved.  By not getting what we want we get to focus on healing our internal disconnects.
