In breaking news, in a 7-2 decision, the US Supreme Court is allowing the sale by mail order of mifepristone one of 2 abortion drugs used for 50% of abortions in America, even into states that ban abortion. Popok explains that the new order will make the drug available to women in all 50 states at least for another year to 18 months, and presages a court that may ultimately allow its sale permanently.  And yet Justices Thomas and Alito call the sale of the drug a "criminal enterprise" for "profit" that does nothing more than try to undermine the Court's decision in 2022 to overturn Roe v. Wade and take away a woman's right to choose, caring more about Red States than a woman's most private and intimate reproductive choices.

The Trump Administration is using false claims of "fraud" as a political weapon against Blue States and/or his political rivals, and California is fighting back.  Popok is joined by California AG Rob Bonta for an exclusive briefing of how the State plans to respond to VP JD Vance's threats at a press conference this week to cut off billions of critical health care dollars to California.  AG Bonta's  illustrious track record of success in securing Hundreds of Billions of dollars in court cases against the Trump Administration says he's just the Attorney General to do it!

In breaking news, Trump, Governor DeSantis of Florida and others have been sued in federal court in Miami to stop in its tracks the construction of the Trump Hotel and Library because, the suit alleges, the land grab transferring an almost 3 acre parcel of public land owned by a financially struggling university for 0 dollars  when its fair market value is $300 million, amounts to a violation of the Constitution's Presidential Emoluments Clause, in the form of a state giving a gift to a President which amounts to a bribe or an attempt to corrupt and influence him.  Popok, in Miami, provides the reporting.
