If someone owes you money, you have two options, let them get away with it or make an example of them and ensure you get your debt paid.
I decided to take option two and fought hard to get my debt paid, especially as I knew the agents were taking the absolute piss out of me and using Covid19 as an excuse. Had they given me a legitimate reason why they couldn’t pay, and if they were genuinely hard up, I probably would have worked with them.
In today’s episode, I talk about the process I took to get this debt paid, the communication, the letters, court action, preparing evidence, and going to trial.
Don’t be put off by the lengthy process or the form filling; courts and judges are fair people, and when justice is served, and victory is won, it’s a great sense of overall joy.
I have a great module coming soon in my eLearning platform, which talks about the whole process and has all the template letters and documents I used to win my case. Look out for this!
