The Jason Stapleton Program

Today show came off the rails. I had planned to talk about Trump, the government shutdown, and public employee salaries. We got to a lot of it but what Matt and I spent most of the hour talking about was how to be better messengers and how we live out our principles in our daily lives.

Let me know what you think of today's show!

Student loan debt has hit 1.4 Trillion dollars. Default rates are through the roof. Those 62 and older have nearly 63 billion in outstanding student loan debt.

Much like the housing crisis, our education system has been decimated by government medaling. What's the solution? Should you go to college? Is there any hope for millions of Americans who were duped into an overpriced secondary education?

As the title suggests, this is not an episode for little ears. Bridget has an amazing story and I thought you could benefit from her experiences. She's a recovering drug addict, writer, and comedian who's lived more in 40 years than most people do in a lifetime

Here new podcast "Walk-Ins Welcome" is making waves and if you like what you hear today you should head over and check out her show.

You're probably thinking, "What did Cohn say now?" or "Who finally ratted out Trump?" But you'd be way off. The testimony I'm referring to came yesterday from two forensic accountants who spent two years going over the books at the Clinton Foundation.

You won't believe what they say the Clintons were up to.

Big win for America today. The criminal civil asset forfeiture being perpetrated by Philadelphia has now ended. A fund has also been set up to help those who have been victimized by their government to receive 100% of their money and property back.

What a Day!

Cohn got 3 years for his crimes. But what does it mean for Trump? What exactly was Cohn guilty of? It took me a good bit of searching to find a list of his actual crimes and I found it very interesting.

We also did a live stream for all the members of the new FB group. Thanks to all of you who have already signed up!

There's a lot of bad news out here right now. Lost of violence, lots of corruption and a lot of do-gooder politicians who are making it difficult to survive and thrive.

But that doesn't mean we should hang it up and resign ourselves to a life of servitude. Today I'll contrast what's happening in France with my own beliefs about life, government and success.

Of course, they don't call them "user fees" but that's exactly what it is. We've talked about this for a long time, the idea that cities and states could use toll roads or other use-based fees to pay for roads and bridges rather than taxes.

Los Angeles is now talking about something similar. Unfortunately, (and predictably) they are doing it wrong.

It sounds nuts but it could be one of the greatest marketing promotions of all time.

Also, do we have socialism and capitalism backward? One guy thinks so. We'll talk about his ideas and pick apart his arguments.
