Well...he can't

It's ridiculous how many people are ready to take a dump on the Constitution by supporting the president's desire to unilaterally end the birthright citizenship provided for under the 14th Amendment.

This country is going off the rails. Hold on to your butts!

I don't even know if I should call it a moral dilemma. I'm not sure if that's what it is but I have an incredible teaching opportunity based on what an acquaintance of mine posted online. It was an absolutely horrific rehearsal of a speech he is set to give. There are so many good points I can make that would improve his performance and teach others about influence. I just hate that I have to point out all this guy's mistakes.

The big story for today is the migration crisis. Some 7000 troops have been deployed to our southern border to assist with the apprehension and tetention of what could be thousands of illegal immigrants attempting to cross the border.

I haven't spoken about it yet because I was waiting to see if it was actually going to happen. (these things get blown out of proportion a lot) But it looks like there will be a showdown at the border.

Is there anything that can be done about race-related attacks in America or is this just something we must accept as part of our human nature?

Mick Mulvaney was out talking to the press this morning, lamenting the fact that "every time things are getting better, the Fed pumps the breaks".

What he's suggesting is that the Fed should leave rates low because it looks good. This is exactly what the Fed did during the late 90's and it led to the collapse of our housing market.

So what's going on here? Well, it's pretty simple. The president likes being able to take credit for a strong economy and every time the Fed raises rates it slows things down. Trump doesn't really CARE about the economy. If he did he wouldn't be complaining every time the fed moves to bring rates back into what can be considered historical norms.

I continue to say, nobody is looking out for you and this is just another example of that. The president does not have your long-term interests in mind. He is concerned only with the short-term political gain he can get from a strong economy.
