THE LAST SHOW ON EARTH

Welcome to the theatrical podcast in which we ask a special guest the big, BIG question that nobody ever needed to ask.

If there was a huge meteor hurtling toward Earth threatening to destroy life as we know it and you could see one more show before you die, what would it be?

It can be anything you want. A show you’ve seen before, one that you wish you’d seen, or something you’ve made up entirely. What would be YOUR Last Show on Earth?

Our guest this episode is actress, author, vlogger and social media darling Carrie Hope Fletcher. Carrie talked to us in March 2022 during her run in Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Cinderella" in London's glittering West End - a show in which she played the title role!

Our very first guest is British comedy legend and national treasure Matt Lucas. An actor, writer and comedian with a hugely varied career that has seen him become a household name with TV shows like Little Britain, Shooting Stars and more, we talked to Matt way, way back in May 2021 - not long after Matt had a hugely popular hit single with Thank You Baked Potato.

"Imagine there is a huge meteor hurtling towards our beautiful blue planet and before life as we know it comes to end, we can magically click our fingers so you are able to see any theatrical production you want. What would you choose to see for your Last Show on Earth?"

West End and Broadway stars John Owen-Jones and Alistair Brammer ask this question of friends and colleagues from the West End, Broadway and beyond - and the answers are often intriguing, funny and sometimes bizarre...
