A great leader knows how to make quick decisions, and conclusive decisions. Every second counts, and every time you tarry, an opportunity can pass you by. Sometimes, you get another shot, but most often, you don’t. Knowing all that, it can still be difficult to quickly jump into a boat, blindly, believing that it will lead you to the other side of the shore just because you decided to jump.
What then can you do to easily decide without looking back with regret after you made it? This episode presents 4 tactical ways to navigate the decision-making process and reach a conclusion quickly. Find out what they are and how they can be applied to every decision-making journey you take.

Isn't it a wonder how surgeons can perform long hours in the operating room and still manage to enthusiastically announce to an agitated family member when it's over that the operation has been successful? Or how, after hours of making rounds, a doctor still patiently awaits every patient that knocks and looks forward to another day doing the same routine. It's amazing to see a man in action, passionately pursuing the things he loves and living up to his purpose.
When you see the opposite, their energy seems to rub on you and you feel their stress and tiredness pierce deep through your bones. You get burned out, too. The question is, what makes a doctor feel burned out despite doing the things he worked hard and studied hard to pursue? It is important to get to the root of this question because that’s the only way a solution can be drawn out to address it.
“As you hit your goal, as you hit your dream, it is important to continue to have different goals and dreams, bigger goals, bigger vision, and you need to always be striving towards something.”

Choosing the right mentor or coach has been foundational for the success I’ve achieved. I couldn’t have done it on my own, and as Isaac Newton once said, I stood on the shoulders of giants. You need people who have done what you want to do to help you along, show you how to do it, and introduce you to other people who have done it.
Not all coaches are a good fit for all people, so you have to make sure you choose one that works best for you. In this episode, I’m showing you how to establish whether you need a coach or mentor, the benefits of having one, and how working with one can catapult you to success. Learn how working with a coach enabled me to become an owner, not an operator, in my business and take my company to the next level and a rubric for figuring out if someone could be the right mentor or coach for you.
“If you get this wrong, you’re going to waste a ton of money, but more importantly, you’re going to waste time which is the most important asset we have.”

When it comes to success, you want to strive to be a better person than you were a week, a day, even a second ago. You don’t need to compare yourself with other people in your peer group, friendship circle, or on social media, and you don’t need to define success from outside of yourself. You are only in competition with one person in your life: yourself. So how do you become the highest version of yourself?
When you live in the game, you will feel happiness, fulfillment, intrinsic motivation, and drive. The bliss is internal, not external. Everything you need as you strive for greatness is inside of you, so this week, learn why you need to be your own hero, how to figure out what you’re looking for in life, and transition toward it. Discover why life is a single-player game, and why it’s not about winning or losing, but continually taking steps forward to become the best version of yourself.
