The Lost Drive-In

Episodes 7-9 of Andor Season 2 form a powerful three-episode arc centered on the Ghorman Massacre and its galaxy-shaking fallout.

In Episode 7 ("Messenger"), a recovering Cassian on the growing Yavin IV rebel base receives a mission from Luthen to assassinate Dedra Meero on Ghorman, while tensions simmer between rebel factions and personal relationships strain.

Episode 8 ("Who Are You?") delivers the harrowing Ghorman Massacre, as the Empire provokes and then brutally suppresses a protest; Syril Karn's obsessive arc reaches a tragic, chaotic end in a brutal confrontation with Cassian amid the violence.

In Episode 9 ("Welcome to the Rebellion"), Mon Mothma delivers a career-ending Senate speech denouncing the Empire's actions as genocide, openly aligning with the Rebellion; Cassian helps extract her from Coruscant, and the arc closes with a major droid reunion as the rebellion coalesces.

Episodes 4-6 of Andor Season 2 jump forward one year (to 3 BBY) and center on the escalating crisis on Ghorman, as Luthen sends agents to assess and support a local rebel cell.

In Episode 4 ("Ever Been to Ghorman?"), Cassian and Bix adjust to life running missions from a Coruscant safehouse while Bix battles severe PTSD; Wilmon trains with Saw Gerrera, and Cassian heads to Ghorman undercover as fashionable designer Varian Skye to evaluate the proud but inexperienced local rebels led by the Rylanz family.

Episode 5 ("I Have Friends Everywhere") ramps up the spy intrigue with Cassian embedded among the Ghorman Front, Syril Karn operating as a double agent on the planet, and parallel plots involving Mon Mothma facing Krennic plus Bix struggling with her demons.

In Episode 6 ("What a Festive Evening"), Vel and Cinta arrive on Ghorman to help; a high-stakes Imperial supply hijacking goes tragically wrong, leading to Cinta’s death, while Kleya navigates a tense high-society operation on Coruscant to retrieve critical surveillance tech amid Imperial officers like Orson Krennic.

Episodes 1-3 of Andor Season 2 form the gripping three-episode premiere, jumping forward one year (to 4 BBY) and reintroducing key characters across multiple planets as the Rebellion struggles to take shape.

In Episode 1 ("One Year Later"), Cassian boldly steals a prototype TIE Avenger from an Imperial facility but crash-lands on a jungle moon (near Yavin 4), where he’s captured by a fractured, starving rebel cell that descends into deadly infighting; meanwhile, Bix, Brasso, Wilmon, and B2EMO hide as refugees on the peaceful farming world of Mina-Rau, and Mon Mothma navigates family tensions on Chandrila.

Episode 2 ("Sagrona Teema") deepens the chaos as Cassian tries to prove himself to the distrustful rebels while Bix grapples with severe PTSD from her torture; Mon Mothma hosts her daughter Leida’s lavish arranged wedding, with Luthen arriving amid growing financial and security risks involving Tay Kolma.

In Episode 3 ("Harvest"), the stakes rise with an Imperial audit threatening the Mina-Rau refugees (leading to tragedy), Cassian navigating betrayal and escape among the rogue rebels, and Mon Mothma confronting the personal costs of funding the cause as Luthen and Vel push for decisive—and dark—action.

This movie really "sticks out" despite the 80s being "full" of fantasy pictures. The music will "throb" in your ears, and you'll have a blast watching David Bowie play with his crystal balls.

Pony Boy has his toughest battle yet in this whacky thriller staring Rutger Hauer, C. Thomas Howell, and Jennifer Jason Leigh. It's a little out there, but a wonderful reminder as to what killed hitchhiking in the 80s.

After talking about this movie for years, but never really giving it a full episode, the gang sits down to watch the Stephen King classic, Thinner! What happens when you plow into a pedestrian with your car while getting head...? Well, you get cursed of course! Who needs a fat shot when you can just run over gypsies? That's basically what the movie is saying...!

Imagine a world in which the stories you write are real? Well that seems to be happening to Sutter Cane and fresh off his dinosaur work, Sam Neil (playing John Trent) has to track down the reclusive author to see what's up. It's classic John Carpenter and it's great!

Nothing is more prestigious than the LSG Media Awards show except maybe Adrienne Brody's not douchey at all acceptance speech! Remember: when bad people do bad things it's....

Well, bad! Thank God the celebs are here to remind us of this fact!
