Zoey is joined by magic maker, death worker, intuitive energy worker, and author and illustrator of several books and card decks Cassie Uhl. Cassie’s work is trauma-informed and rooted in earth-based spiritual practices from her ancestral roots across Northern Europe and her local environment. She is passionate about helping folks feel spiritually grounded and resourced in all seasons of life. She resides on Indigenous Myaamiaki land in so-called Indiana in the United States with her husband and twin children.
Cassie shares her personal journey into spirituality based work and how her entrepreneurial and spiritual journey has evolved over the past several years - from the realizations of exploitation happening within her past industry to stepping back, going inward, and ultimately stepping into a deeper spiritual practice. Together, Cassie and Zoey discuss what it means to divest from dominant forms of extraction, how her work is trauma-informed, grief and death work - how she encourages others to participate in a death-phobic society, how to integrate these spiritual practices in our lives, rites of passage, how she honors indigenous history in her practice, and so much more.
