It’s our birthday week! Murugi turns 32 today and Lydia turns 31 tomorrow. As we celebrate our birthdays with excitement and positive anticipation, we know that’s not always the case when you’re turning a year older.

Sometimes birthdays can be a loud reminder of your shortcomings, they can reflect your loneliness or lack of fulfillment. Other times it’s just pure dread. Ladies! 🗣Single is the default. Our society is so obsessed with relationships to the point that you are made to feel weird when you're single. Although we are both in partnerships, we had a fantastic time single. We enjoyed our season of single and lived it to the fullest. We always say that if you're not happy single, that's the you you’re taking into a relationship. So here are some things we did in order to have a full and happy time as single ladies. It looks different for everyone so please let us know what you do or did to stay happy single.  

P.S. You are 100% allowed to desire companionship that in itself doesn't mean you're unhappy single.

The Alpha female. Who is she? What defines her? There’s so much conversation around what it means to be an alpha female and we wanted to sit down and unpack it all. We both fit the definition of the alpha female and we invited Kitt Kiarie who is also an alpha to share our experiences walking in these shoes. Do we like it? What are the challenges? We are starting a new year and if you listened to us and left that dusty man in 2021, then you may just be ready for your first date!😁  If we are honest, a lot of our ghetto relationships were probably giving us signs from the first date. So this episode is all about the etiquette to make sure you are putting your best foot forward but also making sure you’re not being sold short!  From sex on the first date, who pays for the bill and the mentality we need to date with. We spill the tea on our first date experiences too and what we learnt in the very often ghetto first dates!

Hey inbetweeners! Happy New Year!

Welcome to our first episode of the year! We're chatting about things we want for the new year and our resolutions to help us get there! Most resolutions are broken before February but that has never stopped us. Starting the year with intention can be very powerful in helping you clarify how you want to direct your year. We shared our love, self, health, wealth, career and family resolution. We wish you an incredible year ahead and I hope you are able to direct your year towards genuine fulfillment.
