In this week's episode, I will be joined by Ardra Shephard. Ardra is the influential Canadian blogger behind the award-winning Tripping On Air. She is a script consultant for the AMI television network, and her blog was the subject of a WebMD-produced documentary short.
Ardra is a sought-after writer, consultant, speaker, and smoothie connaisseurs. She has contributed to FASHION magazine, InStyle, the National MS Society’s Momentum Magazine, msconnection.org, The Mighty, healthline.com, xojane, and others. She was named one of the top MS bloggers “in the universe” by feedspot.com, and Yahoo Lifestyle reported that @ms_trippingonair is the number one chronic illness account to follow on Instagram. In 2019 Ardra was the keynote speaker at the MS Foundation of the Cayman Islands gala fundraiser, and in 2020 she spoke at the MS Society’s On The Move event in Washington D.C.
With an international reach and reputation, Ardra is a leader in the MS community. She’s on a mission to change minds about what it means to live with a disability and to empower those with chronic illness to stake their place in the world.
