Eddy has been fishing the Monomoy area, Nantucket Sound, and the south side of Cape Cod very heavily the past few weeks. He has reports on everything from Bonito, Striped Bass, Blue Fish, and Fluke. We discuss the different offerings from Monomoy tackle and how to best utilize them this time of year to target a variety of different species.

The podcast also has an in-depth discussion on Fluke in Nantucket Sound and how to effectively target larger Fluke using a variety of tactics. Lastly, we recap the amazing "Fluke vs Cancer" fundraiser which raised nearly $16,000 for Boston Children's Hospital. Amy provides us with a promising funny fish report with plentiful schools of Bonito and False Albacore off the south side into Vineyard Sound. They are predominantly being targeted by boat, but Amy gives some spots to target them from shore and from the kayak.

In addition, the Striped Bass and Blue Fish bite is still ongoing both off the south side and inside Cape Cod Bay. Amy gives us the latest on schools of Bass and Blues gorging on sand eels.

Evan and his customers have been having great success targeting funny fish in early August. Large schools of Bonito are plentiful of the shoreline of Falmouth and into Vineyard Sound and the False Albacore have begun to show up as well. Evan and his father landed a very large "Albie" mixed in a school of feeding Bonito!

In addition, this podcast discusses Fluke and Sea Bass in the sounds and shoals, Brown Sharks from shore along the South Side facing beaches, and the offshore bite for Blue Fin Tuna.

AJ has a very encouraging fishing report for both the Cape Cod Canal and Cape Cod Bay! It seems like some of the best Striped Bass action of the season is currently taking place in the Canal and off the East End into Cape Cod Bay. The fishing is likely to get better and continue to stay hot as we approach a full moon this weekend with optimal morning low tides.

In this episode we also discuss the boat bite in Cape Cod Bay, where to target Fluke in Buzzards Bay from shore, and of course the offshore fishery stretching out to the canyons.
