You’re no rookie. This isn’t your first rodeo. So, like Capt. Kevin, Capt. Scott, and everybody else who’s a bit of a veteran of First Coast waters, you know this time was coming when the weather was going to warm up, the sun was going to beat down, and the fishing was going to be…well, you should listen and find out!
As you know, more often than not, an episode can really go sideways at one point or another. This one? The guys left the gate sideways. It took about 5 minutes to get into a big discussion about the movie Jaws, one of the scariest movies of all time. But then…how did they pivot into talking about hot peppers and uncomfortable burning sensations on different parts of your bodies? It was quite a trick, and you’ll have to listen to find out.
It wasn’t all silliness, though. You know the guys had some great fishing stories to share, and they did just that. No see-ums and yellow flies made their way into the conversation too, but that’s 100% outdoors, isn’t it?
Finally, we can’t stress enough how much we love the stuff our callers bring every episode. The questions, the stories, the tips are all outstanding. Sometimes, however, the guys get a call that just goes into uncharted territory, and this episode has one of those calls. So sit down, kick back, relax and allow us to introduce you to “Boondocker”.
Here’s your L.V. Hiers gear tip of the week: You will love Skin So Soft Bug Guard Plus, and no-see-ums will HATE it! This is the only stuff we’ve found that truly works! It’s another wild one, and a whole lot of fun, too.

As you know, this episode of the Moe’s Southwest Grill Fishing Forecast is all about fishing. So, you also know you’re gonna hear lots of stories about what’s going on in First Coast waters…and the upcoming weather forecast, too.
But this week had some special surprises! Capt. Corey Sparks joined the guys to give some of his own perspective on things, and Capt. Ricky pulled a stunt that almost had the guys headed outside to settle up like men. Find out what had Capt. Scott all fired up!
So…where do you begin when things go sideways straight out of the gate? This episode was a bunch of fun, and the talk went all over the place. You’ll have to listen with a notepad beside you to keep track of it all, but things went crazy when the guys stumbled into a conversation about southern rock.
But yes, the guys never forgot that it’s really an outdoors show, so you can bet on a great turkey stories from Jeff and Kevin, talk from everybody about the sounds of spring when you’re looking to bag a bird. All this, along with some great fishing stuff too.

Between the wind, the rain and the storms and super cells, it’s been a pretty wild few days on the First Coast. But if you watch The Weather Channel, you’d think it was the end of everything! Capt. Kevin, Capt. Scott and Capt. Ricky talk about the money everybody’s making when the weather gets a little wild and woolly.
They also talk about the forecast, of course, and get you some insight into whether you’re going to have some wild and woolly fish on your line!
With Jeff out of pocket doing some OSR, Capt. Kevin and Capt. Kirk called on one of the most notorious scallywags on the First Coast to join them: Capt. Leon Dana! So, as you can imagine, there was a lot of fishing talk…and a lot of craziness, too!
