There comes a time in your healing journey when it’s time for energy work.

Healing happens in stages.  In the beginning, you want to talk about why you have dirty dishes in the sink. You want to analyze and understand. 

Next, you figure out how to remove and clean said dishes. 

Then, comes the invisible. Even when you cleared your sink, there’s still a residue. There’s a smell. You can’t put your finger on it it but you know it’s there.  There’s something in the drain. 

Time for energy work.

Intentional energy work gets to the core of how your nervous system, your energetic body, and your emotions are all intertwined together. 

When you understand everything mentally, but rarely work on the emotional intelligence required in your physical body to navigate the frequency and energetic shifts of your healing… you come to a standstill. 

It feels like you’re stuck.

You know there’s still something there, but it doesn’t make sense logically anymore. 

This is energetic.  You can’t think you’re way out of this.  You must feel and recalibrate your energy.

You charge the way you do not because of “accessibility”, but because you haven’t healed your wealth consciousness. Money in the hands of spiritually inclined folks does the world so much better. We’re the ones closing Wellness gaps, creating accessible tools for well-being, putting efforts towards environmental conservation, social justice, and activism work. We can’t do this if we are stressed, drained, and in constant survival mode. You will get ill if you’re not already. This is not a cute trauma to wear as a badge. ✨How would I have able to facilitate Breathwork for over 20,000 people since 2018 for free inside The Breathwork Club if I was barely surviving myself? ✨How would we give $300,000 in scholarships to healers if we didn’t have the resources built to do so? ✨How could we implement free programming in our communities if we weren’t taken care of ourselves? 2. You don’t hate sales and marketing; you have a visibility issue. You have a fear of being seen that’s deeply rooted in wounds that you’ve bypassed for years. Showing up authentically dysregulates your nervous system. You value people’s perceptions of you more than you care about pursuing things you love. You fear being visible will highlight your perceived flaws, mistakes, or “imperfections.” The fear you carry about not being “good enough” makes you want to hide rather than show up authentically.

In 2017 and 2018 I was one of the first in Southern California to receive grant funding from the state of California to implement holistic healing art programs in clinical populations. I was able to put in programming at women’s shelters, veterans legions, low income schools, and recovery centers. This work was a pivotal moment where breathwork, Sound healing, and meditation practices were just seeing their ways into a non-aesthetic wellness space. And when I founded The Healing Arts Academy, often referred to as the graduate school for healing arts by my students 🥸✍🏽, and my decolonized Breathwork facilitator training school rooted in wisdom traditions @breathworkfacilitatortraining, it continued to be very important to consider the actual impact our Facilitators were creating outside of social media. Who were the actual recipients of our work? Who are we really holding space for? What kind of practitioners were we becoming as a collective? Could we be soft, grounded, and safe for folks in so many different walks of life? I hope you take something away from this reflection and apply it to the impact that you’d like to make your own communities as well. Perhaps you also want to write grants and put programming into your communities. Perhaps you are an educator who wants to change curriculum in your school system. Perhaps your path isn’t fully clarified, but you want support in that. I wanted to let you know that Mystic Codes, a high touch three month immersion and mastermind for healers is open to you.
