What if longevity isn't about adding more years to your life, but more life to your years?
In this episode of Deeply Well, Devi sits down with Alejandro Bataller, Managing Partner of SHA Wellness Clinic, to explore a more intentional approach to longevity, preventive care, and holistic well-being.
As we begin to rethink what it means to vacation, destinations like SHA are redefining the experience by offering something beyond rest. Imagine returning from a vacation not only refreshed but with a deeper understanding of your body, your health, and the lifestyle choices that can improve your quality of life.
Bataller describes SHA as a vacation with a purpose while on your health journey.

As the seasons change, Devi reflects on the strange coexistence of grief and joy, endings and new beginnings, exhaustion, and possibility.
This episode is an invitation to take inventory: of our friendships, our work, our routines, our relationship with technology, and even the expectations we’ve placed on ourselves. What still fits? What are we maintaining simply because it has been part of our lives for a long time? And where might doing less actually bring us closer to who we are now?

Devi welcomes performance coach, entrepreneur, investor, and Heartbeat Ventures managing partner Ron “Boss” Everline.
The conversation is an energizing and deeply grounded reflection on discipline, personal responsibility, and the choices that shape who we become. Everline offers an honest look at how loss, family, fatherhood, and ambition have strengthened his commitment to showing up with purpose. One word is frequently used by Eveline as the backbone for his success in both business and his personal life: "DISCIPLINE."
Discipline becomes more than a path to achievement; it becomes a way of honoring yourself, supporting the people around you, and building a life rooted in integrity, joy, and intention.
How do you switch on the mechanisms of discipline?

How are you going to be present?
In this episode, Devi is joined by Tracee Stanley, author of Living Ritual: Infuse Each Day with Purpose and Spirit, for a conversation about what it means to move through our lives with greater intention.
Tracee offers a simple but powerful question: How are you going to be present? Before reaching for your phone to doomscroll or settling into another binge-watch, what would it look like to first make space for the rituals that ground you?
Prayer. Spiritual conversation. Stillness. Reflection. Or whatever practices you create that allow you to reconnect with yourself and move through the day more intentionally.
Our living rituals don't have to be elaborate. They are the practices we return to—the ones that remind us to be present for our lives rather than simply moving through them.

Devi welcomes Sheleana Aiyana, bestselling author of Becoming the One and founder of Rising Woman, to discuss her forthcoming book The Four Seasons of Heartbreak (out February 2). Aiyana frames heartbreak as an initiation and a choice point: bitterness or self-awareness, arguing that healing can’t be rushed and that grief deserves time and permission.
What if the person you deem “your person” is not, and the heartbreak plays a bigger role in helping you connect inward to find true JOY on the other side?
Using nature’s cycles as a template, Aiyana describes moving through inner “seasons” of letting go, clarity and grieving, renewed effort, and hope, culminating in “the gift of being single” and a deeper relationship with self. She shares how heartbreak can reveal an original wound rooted in early life experiences. Heartbreak could be what helps bring clarity to what you need to pay attention to on your journey.

An urgent and provocative message urging parents and adults alike to put your phones down and connect. Our children are facing a rapidly changing landscape, shifting from play-based to phone-based childhoods that influence how they perceive and interact with the world.
Devi welcomes back clinical psychologist and Conscious Parenting Movement Founder Dr. Shefali to discuss how conscious parenting has grown since her 2010 book The Conscious Parent and why she wrote two new books, Raising Conscious Daughters and Raising Conscious Sons (releasing September 15).
Dr. Shefali warns us that cheap, superficial “knowledge,” instant gratification, and reduced boredom undermine focus, creativity, grit, and resilience, contributing to anxiety, depression, self-harm, loneliness, and suicidality. She is empowering parents to act fast, break away from the algorithm, and put your phones down because this technological world is not designed for healthy childhoods.

Devi welcomes multimedia storyteller and Studio Symoné founder Darian Symoné Harvin to discuss how her beauty reporting connects to identity, culture, and human-centered storytelling. Darian shares her path from newsroom work and burnout to creating more nuanced beauty journalism that values specificity, empathy, and strong personal standards while avoiding “gotcha” media and telling people what to think. Darian reflects on reconnecting with God, becoming flexible with self-care, and the importance of reducing fixation on celebrity.

Devi welcomes back Dr. Rheeda Walker, a clinical psychologist and professor focused on Black mental health, to discuss shifts in mental-health awareness since the pandemic and the need for credible, culturally informed care amid misinformation and a shortage of providers. Walker explains how avoidance and media narratives shape fears about mental illness, why training and credentials matter, and introduces “psychological fortitude” as the ability to stay grounded despite life stressors, using a simple 0–10 self-rating to assess needs and choose effective responses over knee-jerk coping. They also discuss Walker’s book No Racial Elephants in the Therapy Room, describing how therapists’ discomfort with race can harm clients and why clinicians must address “elephants” directly. Her “soul work” is to pause, breathe, and rate your psychological fortitude when frustrated. What is your capacity to be able to stay grounded and to take care of the things that I am able to do?"

In this special Q&A episode, Devi responds to deeply personal questions from the Deeply Well community about relationships, intuition, and knowing when it may be time to let go.
From navigating friendships you've outgrown to finding clarity when a marriage no longer feels aligned, Devi explores reciprocity, emotional maturity, trusting what your body is telling you, and releasing the pressure to stay simply because nothing appears "wrong" from the outside. Through reflections from her own life, she offers an honest reminder that relationships should leave room for us to feel nourished, inspired, supported, and fully ourselves.
Sometimes the work isn't figuring out how to hold on; it's trusting yourself enough to recognize when it's time to move forward.
