Ed Roos holds a Master’s in Education (M.Ed.) from Antioch University, a principal certification from the University of Washington, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Western Washington University. After serving as a sales manager for a local software company, he made a bold mid-career transition into education. Over the next 17 years, he dedicated himself to Seattle Public Schools as both a teacher and administrator. In 2020, amid the shifting tides of cancel culture, his tenure came to an unexpected end. Today, Ed contributes part-time to the nonprofit sector and offers education consulting services. He is currently writing a book that chronicles his experiences within the Seattle school system.
