Aaron Kindsvatter, Ph.D., was formerly a tenured faculty member of
counselor education in New England. During his time in higher education,
he noted with concern the growing movement within counselor education
to politicize counselor training and psychotherapy. In response to this
movement he co-founded the Society for Ethical Practices in
Psychotherapy. He sits on the Executive Board of the International
Association of Psychology and Counseling. Kindsvatter lives and
practices in Burlington, Vermont.
David King is an IT professional and civil liberties advocate with a
passion for protecting the integrity of our institutions. Serving as the
Director of IT at the Foundation Against Intolerance & Racism and
as the Technology Administrator for the Institute for Liberal Values, he
believes firmly that institutions must adhere to their overarching
goals and principles, not be co-opted by the social movements and
political agendas of the day. David lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
SEPP description:
The Society for the Ethical Practice of Psychotherapy is a politically
and culturally welcoming group of psychotherapy practitioners, educators
and students invested in ensuring the welfare of psychotherapy patients
by holding ethics above agendas; putting clients' outcomes first and
healing through science, honesty, and fidelity to the individual..
SEPP's core view is that psychotherapy is a field that supersedes in

Deb Fillman is a mother of three with a Masters Degree in Education, and
background in classroom teaching, private tutoring, and homeschooling.
After spending the past decade researching and monitoring the impact of
trends in American K12 education on behalf of her family, she realized
other parents needed to learn more about education before they could
effectively advocate for their children.
So over the past three years, she has poured her knowledge, passion and
experience into producing video, audio, and written content to educate
parents about how and why schools are failing their children, as well as
what they can do about and in spite of it.
Deb believes parents have more power than they realize to improve their
children’s education, they just need the right information and community
support. To provide both, she has built two platforms: The Reason We

private, twice-weekly support group where parents connect, discuss
challenges, and receive guidance they can use right now to help their
kids get the best possible education.

counseling, tutoring for students in grades 5-12, customized
homeschooling courses in English, Writing, History, Civics, and Logic,
and custom webinars for parent groups, school boards, and candidates for
public office. Additionally, she runs a parent support group via

March 06, 2024 Gender Surgery: a Frank Discussion with Plastic Surgeon Dr. Rick Bosshardt
Dr. Bosshardt joined me for second discussion about medical ethics and
the impact of contemporary race and gender ideologies on the practice of
medicine and surgery. In this conversation we focused on concerns
around "Gender affirming" medical and surgical treatment.
Rick Bosshardt has been a plastic surgeon in Tavares, FL for 35 years. A
graduate of the University of Miami Leonard Miller School of Medicine,
he trained as a general surgeon in the US Navy in Oakland, CA and was
board-certified by the American Board of Surgery. He completed his
residency in plastic surgery at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial
Hospital program under world-reknown plastic surgeon, D. Ralph Millard
and began his own practice in 1989. He is board-certified by the
American Board of Plastic Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of
Surgeons for over thirty years, a Senior Fellow at Do No Harm
(www.donoharmmedicine.org), and a Founding Fellow of FAIR in Medicine
(www.fairforall.org/fair-in-medicine). For 25 years he wrote a weekly
medical column for the Orlando Sentinel. In 2021, he began to push back
against the installation of antiracism and DEI in the American College
of Surgeons and, in April 2022, was banned for life by the leadership
from engagement with his fellow surgeons on the ACS website. He
continues his battle with the ACS to this day.
