Lay Up. Slam Dunk. REBOUND. In basketball, we know a rebound is when a player gets the ball after a missed shot! In the dating realm? That definition is not far off. The failed relationship is the missed shot and the person going for thw rebound is the unhealed individual who is trying to move on too fast! We all know somebody, maybe even ourselves, who has tried to move on in order to “help them heal,” but is it helpful or harmful to the healing process? Can it even bring more trauma? As we know, in basketball, a rebound is another chance at a shot! So can these types of situations work out LONG TERM??
