One councilmember has an idea - an idea similar in price tag to the public safety training facility. Interesting.

Governor Brian Kemp and his economic team took a victory lap presser earlier today to back-slap each other for again earning the distinction of being the "number one" state for business; the problem is, what Georgia's really "number one" for is kowtowing to developers and doling out tax breaks, while key rankings for citizens languish. Stacey Abrams caught a lot of flak in 2022 for pointing that out, but I got her back on this.

The big loser (so far) in the Kevin McCarthy canning might well be Marjorie Taylor Greene, y'all; but either way, this is kinda fun to watch.

Some seeds Biden/Harris are planting before our eyes may well bear shade they won't be around to enjoy, but it's high time they got credit for pecking away at student debt and their efforts to eliminate medical debt from credit scores would be HUGE.

Lastly, mixing sports, here; the Tampa Bay Rays' pitiful attendance woes are indicative of what a proposed NHL team in south Forsyth would be dealing with, too. The similarities HAVE to be pointed out here.

It's been nearly two months since a 62-year old church deacon, John Hollman, died while in police custody at the site of a traffic accident HE called 911 about. To date, the police lapel and/or dash cam video has yet to be released, and Hollman's family wants it out.

This, of course, is poor timing for pro-"public safety training facility" folks, but also quite damning if withholding the video - citing policy crafted after the Manuel Teran death, ironically - is an attempt to suppress peaceful protest that makes law enforcement (and advocates of it) uncomfortable.

Well, nearly a third of Atlanta's voters got DOXXED by the city clerk. Incidentally, Vanessa Waldon's name, address and phone number aren't on the city website and her office voicemail box is full. I mean, post my info; I'm just one person - but one of 116 THOUSAND. And a lot of us are pissed, ma'am. And Mr. Mayor.

Lastly, statewide polling is both revealing and useless - namely when it comes to statewide opinions on "Cop City," anyway. I'll dive in.

Without question, the winner of the second GOP debate last night was .... Joe Biden. Ron DeSantis gave his re-election campaign JUST the on-point soundbite needed, and Chris Christie gets the assist, too. In general, the squabbling and inability to have substantive policy discussion just put on display how irresponsible that party is when it comes to deciding which is more fit to lead this nation.

That said, we must point out that while Fox Business and Univision televised it, Rumble livestreamed it. Why's that noteworthy? Kayla Gogarty from Media Matters for America joined me to explain.

Why's the resignation of a rural Georgia county's elections board chairman a bigger deal than you might think? Well, it's Coffee County, and the "rot" is at least two people deep in just that one county, and yet there's no appetite at the Georgia Secretary of State's office to find out if the rot's even deeper (or in other counties). There's also no appetite for insulating the state's 2024 election results against the possible use of breached data to change outcomes. We want to know why.

A back-n-forth text snit between Mayor Andre Dickens & Councilmember Keisha Sean Waites via a group text involving them and all of city council got leaked today, and for feedback, Councilmember Waites joined me. The mayor took umbrage with a statement she gave last week via the Saporta Report. Or maybe it was Capital B. Or both?

A major city mayor announced he's a Republican over the weekend. Says cities need Republicans. I agree. Hear why.
