This episode is a joint interview with Nicole Brandi Ashmore, founder and CEO of Dental Express, and Teresa Williams, COO of Dental Express. They started in 2014 and have seven locations in San Diego. However, they’ve been working together in the DSO space since 2008. 

 

One of their core beliefs is not upselling dental care, which is counter to many of the common practices today. This strategy has helped them achieve consistent growth to the tune of 200 new patients a month per location.

 

Their real estate strategy revolves around finding highly visible locations with great neighbor tenants such as Starbucks. 

 

They also share their views on vendor relationships and how they can be just as important as patients.
