A typical night out for sisters Leslie and LeAnn Jones includes great wine, great food and great friends at some of their favorite restaurants in Los Angeles. Leslie, a luxury wedding planner, and LeAnn, an attorney, were tired of going outside of their neighborhood to enjoy delicious wine and food. With Leslies background in hospitality and LeAnns knowledge and love of wine, the sisters decided to open 1010 Wine and Events.

They believe in making wines that are locally grown with sustainable practices in Maryland, with a niche focus on creativity and blends. The quality of our wine comes from bridging the traditional grape-to-bottle method using locally grown vinifera and hybrid grapes with the winemaking practice of blending varietals in a non-traditional way.

Jonll has started businesses with six-figure sales, running her own event planning business for the last 12 years. Her joy comes from creating experiences. She has always wanted to find a way to connect her passion for wine with a lifelong business. Her MBA in marketing also is a strength that will be valuable in connecting people with Boyd Cru Wines. She wants to build something incredible that serves women and creates a legacy for her family.
Matthew Boyd, CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER
Matthews love for wine stems from his 12 years of pharmaceutical and chemistry knowledge. He loves that wine is both; parts chemistry and art when it comes to creating some of the best wines. His 15+ years of professional experience and his Executive MBA from Darden both will be valuable when running a wine company.

Grant Hemingway is a dynamic, passionate entrepreneur that has devoted his entire 16-year career to growing wine brands. Grant thrives on challenging the status quo and expressing his
creativity through innovative wine plays, be it process, packaging, or marketing. He is motivated by making wine more approachable and inclusive for the next generation of drinkers.
After graduating from UC Davis Viticulture + Enology, Grant managed Vineyard Operations and Development for the Far Niente Family. Building on this foundation, he moved over to Mason Cellars and eventually became General Manager/Winemaker where he grew the company for eventual acquisition by Trinchero Family Estates in 16. In his last start-up endeavor, he founded and ran EG Wine Co. as an early entrant into the canned wine category until summer of 20 when he accepted the position to run the Wine & Spirits division for MolsonCoors. Grant currently resides in Napa, CA with his wife and two children.

After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, Nicholas discovered his love of wine working in some of the most notable wine regions in the world. After earning the title of Certified Sommelier through The Court of Masters, Nicholas decided to take the dive into winemaking in 2016 when he moved to Napa, California to participate in his first vintage. Wanting to gain more experience with white wines, he immediately went south to New Zealand to take another job opportunity. Later that year, he and Francesca moved to Philadelphia to be closer to family with the intention of opening Mural City Cellars.
